If You Want Fun And Fuel Efficient, Get This Car! —

Mine has the Velocity Red which is a Japanese color only. The steering is so tight it feels like it rides on rails. I can even efficiently maneuver on gravel roads without fear of losing control. I wish I could have gotten a manual, but less than 15% of all 3's are manual. The 4 speed automatic has a couple large power gaps in downshifting causing it to get sluggish. It has loads of pep from a dig, even with the 2.0L motor. The engine compartment has plenty of room to maneuver around the motor but the Air filter box is nearly impossible to get too especially since plastic pieces attached to it from the frame are attached with plastic screws that strip very very easily. The Auto Clutch manual is fun to use sometimes and it helps with decelerating in slick or icy conditions. It has the shortest 60-0 braking time in it's class blowing every other car out of the water. It is a little heavy for a compact car, but it has more safety features in its construction and engineering than the others. The projector head lights turn night into day and provide excellent visibility. The interior has sharp looking seats, 3 point steering wheel with convenience buttons, and a very slick looking dash. I drive it aggressively most of the time and i still average 28 MPG. The gas light turns on at about 300 miles. I would recommend this car for anyone who is looking for a Fuel Efficient and Fun car to drive. Zoom Zoom!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Unsurpassed Performance for the Price

Cons: Quite a few plastic parts secured by more plastic parts.

Great Car — Good reliable car, great handling and performance for a 2.3L 16v engine. Better than I thought it would be for less than $16K. Poor mileage though. ~19 city / ~30 highway. 25.5 Combined. Mods are pretty expensive though. I also don't really like the quality of the paint.

Pros: Handling, Performance, Reliability

Cons: Mileage

Fun Everyday Car. —

This Mazda has been our reliable companion since my Sentra was totaled. I bought it because it was the most stylish, best performing car I could afford brand new. After about 55,000 miles, the only reliability issues I've had were minor annoyances related to my own modifications. Mazdas are known for their sharp driving dynamics, and this car is no exception. My Mazda3 does great on twisty roads, especially after equipping Mazdaspeed sport springs and dampers and W rated Kuhmo tires. The way it shifts, steers, and brakes far exceeds the standard for base price sedans. And because of my custom exhaust, everyone knows I'm coming when they hear the signature "BWAAAAAAR!" The Mazda3's styling, inside and out, is also a cut above other small cars. Everyone who rides in it comments about how nice the interior is. My only two issues with it, (and I'm being really picky here) are the lack of power, and that it sometimes experiences wheel hop when accelerating from a stop on wet pavement. So if you can afford it, buy a Mazdaspped3! I drive it pretty hard and it still gets 26mpg and has never needed major repair. It's fun to drive and it still carries my family and our stuff. We love our Mazda3!

Pros: Steering, suspension, interior and exterior styling, practicality.

Cons: No LSD.

My Car Is Good — I like my car bc it goes, i rarely have any issues with it. Very reliable. I wish it got better gas mileage. It's a good car to have with a manual transmission. I have driven one with auto tranny, that was fun too.

Pros: It's cute

Cons: I don't get to drive it ebough

Axela — this car is nice to look at, handles great, get 30mpg, has very low emissions PZEV, great shift feel, features of a luxury midsize, cheap, has an available turbo kit, strong aftermarket following, xenon low beams, over sized brakes. 0-60 in 7.5, 60-0 in 115 ft, skid pad at .87g.

Pros: features, braking/handling, high mpg

Cons: other cars have more hp for the money, fwd
