The Truck Everyone Should At Least Drive Once. — When i sat in this car it felt like owned the road. Higher than most jeeps its size, it has 4x4 to get you out of any tough situation. More car than you will ever need for the city, and ideal for country driving as well. SPorting a extra row of seats that are ideal for medium to small adults, and all forms of children. Exceptional speed and Transmission control. Has amazing handling for a truck and resale value is exceptional. A Must have for Truck officianados.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Everything.

Cons: Needs more options, like Lamborghini DOors.

Awesome! — Can take it anywhere, very good power (HEMI); it snaps your head if you slam on the accelerator, nice looking. No problem with the build quality. Very satisfied with the styling outside and out, just needs more cup holder. I expected to pay more on gas with the HEMI but well worth it. Fun to drive esp when offroading>

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Very capable off road and in paved road.

Cons: Nothing!

If You Do Not Mind Filling Up A 20 Gallon Gas Tank Every 250 Miles - Then This Is Your Car. — Have had a lot of electronic issues....but since everything has been replaced, it is working quite well. Lot of power and will pull anything....comfortable and fun to drive. Has about every bell and whistle on it. I really like the auto high beams and the auto windshield wipers.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: When you need to move it moves!

Cons: Avoid the 2006 model - lots of problems with the electrical

8.5 Out Of 10 Stars — Build quality on the interior trim is a little cheesy. 4.7 v-8could use more bottom end torque. Only had one problem with the electrical connection for the transfer case shift motor. Fixed it myself thanks to some excellent over-the-phone coaching from my favorite Jeep delaer

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great off road or in heavy snow.

Cons: Gas mileage isn't bad but not great either

My Cherry Red Commander — It handles great and it is perfect in looks and style. The gas mileage could be better but it's worth it. Nothing better than rolling the windows down and opening the sunroof! The seats are comfortable and there is lots of storage spaces.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: appearance, sunroof, sound system

Cons: gas mileage

Totally Awesome — Performance: Acceleration is adequate considering the weight of the vehicle. Breaking and handling are superb. Build Quality: Like a tank Appearance: Exterior sleek box with luxury inside. Cost of ownership: High, gas mileage about 11mpg Fun factor: Extremely fun, recommend to all SUV lovers

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Fun on and off road.

Cons: Gas guzzler, beware =)

Jeep Commander — It's quite agile for such a heavy car. I really like the solid feel. My only complaint is the visibility out of the back windows. This could easily have been sorted if the rear headrests could fold down or be removed. Other than that it handles well has superb grip.

Pros: Its very powerful and quick for a 4X4

Cons: rear visibility.

06 Commander Limited —

Performance - The HEMI is awesome!! Braking, handling and steering are all really good. All the options like NAV and ESP are really handy too. Build Quality - The Jeep is just over 2 years old. From new the supspension rattles like the front end is going to fall out of the vehicle in cold weather, the tail gate had a rust spot and now has two more around the liftgate handle to go with it. The DVD player rattles. The Jeep has also been in the shop every couple months for everything like the navigation quitting to the windows not rolling up, rattles, squeaks, power seats not working , air bag malfuntions, ESP malfunctions, tire pressure monitors failing, no starts, and heater/ac malfunctions. Not too impressive and a huge pain in the butt. It will be getting returned after the lease is up! Thank God! Cost of Ownership - Fuel economy is not that bad considering the amount of power the HEMI has, pretty much all of the repairs so far have been covered under warranty. Overall pretty good but I wouldn't want to own the Jeep with out warranty it could be really expensive. Also a drive train service is about 365 bucks so that is not too good especially when you add another 300 bucks for atune up. The 700 dollar touch after tax is too too expensive in my mind.

Pros: Pro's  - Power, visibility, handling on all types of road conditions and terrain is awesome with the quadra trac 4.

Cons: Con's - too many problems with everything, for the price I could have bought a Mercedes M class or BMW X series and I don't think I would have had all the reliability issues, and rattles, and rust, etc.

Commander Quality — Performance - great as far as off road, SUV, people holder Build quality - no problems so far Appearance - what I like in an SUV - 1) not big and bulky 2) Handles like a car 3) Off road capable Cost of ownership - gas mileage is mid range - it's not the 60 mph like the Harley, but it's ok. Fun factor - 10 of 10.

Pros: It's American and it's a Jeep

Cons: Nothing
