Honda Civic Fk2 1,8 Sport — A spacious 5D that looks like a sleek 3D coupe, packed with practical features that feels and drives like a sports car. An engine more powerful (iVtec) yet more economical.

Pros: design, velocity, style, appearance

Cons: attracts cops :P

Safe Boring Reliable Transportation — The car is fine. Gets great mileage, I am averaging 35+ mpg while traveling at speeds around 80mph. Build quality is not what it use to be. ( I was a Honda mechanic ) The only issue I have with the car is noise in the right front suspension that is bothersome.

Miles Driven per Year:20,000

Pros: Reliability, economy

Cons: build quality

Very Green Car — If you commute or live near CNG public stations - this is the car for a daily commuter in that it drives at direct cost of 4.7 cents per mile versus a Truck or van at 16 mpg burning regular petrol gas at say 4.25 average over the next ten years - not likely - try 6.00 If you drive 12,000 miles per year this equates to a savings of (.266 - .375 per mile direct cost) - $2,628 - $3,936/year - 40 years of driving thats 105,120 - 157,440 savings Put this monthly savings of 219 into an interest bearing account of 7% for the same 40 years = $578,187

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great Handling -
Cleanest automobile combustion engine on the planet, engine is said to go 500,000 plus miles
Once a year oil change

Cons: Honda has the cng high and low pressure filter maintenance schedule wrong.  When purchased in 2006, their existence was not even disclosed!!

Superb And Light Years Away From The Previous Civic Made Specifically For Women Over The Age Of 60. — It looks like something from outer space both inside and out. The HUD is superbly futuristic if you like that sort of thing and the seats are like a large sofa in your living room. The boot is impressively large as is the fuel economy - I get 49-51mpg average consistently. The major let down is the ride. Its like being driven off road in a Series Land Rover sometimes, but it is quiet. I'm looking forward to test driving the new Civic later this year when it finally gets into the dealerships...

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Looks, fuel economy.

Cons: Ride.

Great Small Car — The civic is a great car for someone who doesnt need tons of passenger space. Very dependable and easy to maintain. Dont buy cheap tires or the ride will not be as great. Would keep the car for another 100k if I did not need a truck.

Pros: Handling

Cons: space
