2006 Honda Civic Si — This is a fun and economical sporty coupe. The car is quite stylish and gets a lot of looks. The performance is definitely above average on all fronts. The car has great top end acceleration above 5800 rpm and handles like a dream. Seeing that it is a high revving inline 4 engine, torque is definitely lacking down low. Don't expect to go anywhere fast until the engine really gets singing. The interior build quality is not the best, with rattles emanating from most panels at one point or another, due to the fluctuation in temperature. The layout of the controls and gauges is spot on. This car does not sip gas like the new 1.8L civics, however it does not guzzle gas by any means either. Expect 500-550kms for a tank of gas (~45L) with light driving. Bottom line, this is still an economy car and has many cost cutting measures in place, however it performs quite well with all the added upgrades and should be near the top of your wish list if you're an enthusiast on a budget.

Pros: 6 speed manual transmission, 8200rpm redline, limited slip differential, sport suspension, fantastic looks

Cons: interior build quality, lack of torque, premium fuel required

Fun And More Fun — This car is all you need if you want to spend little, but get lots.

Pros: good acceleration for it's milage. one tank will get you about 800 kms. comfortable, everything is easily accessable. Good factory stereo, base model comes with many nice features

Cons: As with any new car, getting it serviced is a royal pain.

All Around Good — Aweosme brakes, handles really well no squeaks or rattles... somewhat sporty look, low to the ground very cheap to buy and maintain, 30+ mpg if you're looking for a cheap dependable, fun new car, this is it

Pros: handles well, brakes well, accellerates quickly,

Cons: low to the ground, so bottom can be easily scratched on rugged gravel or steep inclines

Fun And Reasonable! — I love my civic! For an automatic, it gets up and goes; of course I'd love more acceleration, but it's stock. There is a blind spot in the rear passenger side, I've gotten into an accident attempting to merge to the right and I've seen many of the same year civics with the same damage. It's so smooth and sleek, I love the clean look. It's fun to drive around with a friend, I don't like to have too many people because of the weight-factor. But it gets awesome gas mileage and is a blast to drive!

    Pros: Performance, MPG, Safety

    Cons: blind spots

My Honda — It's a good car overall but too many problems for a Honda IMO. Numerous recalls and issues that shouldn't have even been issues on a Honda. Otherwise, the MPG is decent and the performance is pretty good considering how small the engine is.

Hot Commuter — I bought this car with the sole intent of commuting. I figured that if I'm going to keep something for a really long time, I might as well customize it. Aside from the aerokit (skirt package), I was not satisfied by what HFP (Honda Factory Performance) had to offer in terms of parts upgrading so I looked around myself for my own cosmetic upgrades. I thought the HFP spoiler was more than ugly, so I got installed an aftermarket one. I didn't feel like paying for overpriced and average looking HFP wheels, so I found some aftermarket ones as well. Put that all together and I got one hot SEMA Civic inspired ride. Even though I occasionally take it autocrossing for fun, I am satisfied with it's performance as a commuter vehicle and feel no need to upgrade the suspension, drivetrain or engine. Having the guts of an Si would be nice, but I don't feel like paying for 93 octane in this day and age. Overall, I cannot think of any other car that I'd prefer to have. This car is the one for me.

    Pros: -Looks excellent
-Performs excellently for what it's intended for

    Cons: -Front wheel drive
-Little crevices that pocket water, so that after I wash my car and think I'm done the drying stage, more water leaks out.
    -May draw police attention
-I'm afraid to park this in the shadier parts of town. To me it looks too good.

It Looks Great, And Is Great On Gas. — The 2006 Honda Civic EX Coupe is a great car, but is in the shadow of the SI. SOC 4 Cylinder isn't going to beat anyone around the block, but it has a very low profile, agressive look, and has a very sporty feel. Its design is very unique, with a two teir dashboard, electronic speedometer, and a very low angle front windshield. Also has an awesome sound system for a stock car, 350 watt with a 8" subwoofer. Its everything I want in a car minus a few luxuries, and its lack of performance is made up by its economy!

Pros: Great looks, fun to drive, incredible gas mileage, and incredible attention to detail in its exterior and interior design.

Cons: lack of torque, interior "mystery" creaks and rattles occasionally, lots of road noise.

Affordable Pocket Rocket — Best performer under 20 grand. I was dissapointed in the cars performance in stock form, but after a few bolts-ons it really woke the car up. I love the overall appearance of my vehicle in stock form and how it sits now (pictures above). It corners like its on rails. The interior is nice and clean. Black Recaro Racing seats with red stiching come standard. The 2 Teir RPM and speed cluster takes some getting used to but is very futuristic and different. Overall I believe the car to be a top competitor in its class. Also I must mention I came from a 99 z28, so this is a totally different ballgame. Although it doesnt have the torque, it screams up to that 9,000rpm redline and with the current mods has put a few v8s to shame, and also been stomped by some. Im not going to lie and say its the fastest car ever, but its fun and we are all car enthusiast and thats what matters. PS: Turbo is sitting in the garage, I will update with pics after the install in the coming weeks =) Hoping for 300whp/220wtq @ 9psi!!!

Pros: Performance, performance, performance. Over 100hp per liter in stock form, even more after mods. Handles unbelievably well for a WWD car (Wrong Wheel Drive). 9,000rpm redline, Appearance

Cons: Plastic bits in the interior scratch easily, 3rd gear issue (8th gen SI owners you know what im talking about), Will empty your bank account for mods if your not careful, takes up too much of my time *says the fiancee ;)*

Coming To A Theater Near You.. — this car is the reincarnation of the beloved 2001 integra type R. NUFF SAID.

Pros: The second car in honda history that's front wheel drive and is equipped with a limited slip differential.

Cons: drive by wire (in a performance outlook).. 3rd gear unstable at times.
