Makes Sense If Buying Used - Powerfull V6 With 4cyl Gas Mileage — I love the leather interior and available engine power. Controls are easy to learn and use. It gets a little time to get use to the car shooting down the engine when coming to a stop. At first it give you a lost of control over the car, but the battery continues to power all you need to be in control; it's just a sensation. The fan slows down to save energy, but the A/C keeps working unlike other Hybrid models. From time to time you'll get a little jerk when the electric motor engages, but I find that easy to live with. I average about 30 miles/gallon driving the car gently. in town. This car is designed for the highway more than for in town/stop-and-go driving. Plenty of power available with 255 hp under the hood. Something I miss is being able to fold the back seat to fit larger objects in the trunk. The back seat does not fold because of the battery pack being in the way. This also makes the trunk smaller that a regular Accord. I use this car for commuting and driving the boys to soccer games. For these duties the car is a champ. It's a shame that with all this power I can't take a corner going fast though. The wheel/tire package is not adequate for the power; loads or rolling and squealing from the tires when going fast in the corners (most people won't probably experience this). Thinking about replacing the wheels to 17" with lower profile tires like on the regular V6 Accord. Not sure if worth the spending though, but that would help. Again, if you are looking for a smooth, but not sloppy ride, in a fairly elegant-powerful sedan that returns very good gas mileage, then this could be a great choice for you. Be aware that this is a fancy technology loaded vehicle with expensive components. I have not had any issues yet (almost 80,000 miles in it), but one must be aware of the potential high mechanic bills.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Smooth power combined with good gas mileage

Cons: Some jerking caused by the transmission and electric motor engagement
