Great All Around Car — Got this on a 3-year lease. I've had it for a little over 2 now. Only issue was with the A/C lines not fully connected at the plant, bled off all A/C refrigerant. Has not been back to the dealer for any other issues.

Pros: Decent MPG, quiet, very reliable

    Cons: turning radius sucks

Was buying one, the driver side front tire failed on a corner due to the low profile nature, I sent it back to the dealership.

2006 Ford Fusion SEL V6 Review
    says:
Top quality inside and out. Great Handling. More than enough power, with the gearing to allow you to use it, at low rpms. Im getting in the upper 20s for fuel mileage, with city driving. Really comfortable breathable perforated leather. Much better leather than Nissan, Toyota, or Honda.

Handling Ranked 2006 Nissan Maxima worse.
"Road tests in the city dont lie. Braking, steering, parking, accelerating, and interior ride comfort, were noticeably better in the Fusion. The seats hug you, and keep you in place. I felt much more confident driving the Fusion. Thats why I chose it over the Maxima."
Looks/Style Ranked 2006 Nissan Maxima worse.
"Maxima looks like a well done Altima (yawn). Fusion is unique. Sporty and aggressive looking, but with a sophisticated smile."

2006 Ford Fusion SEL V6 Review
    says:
Fun to drive. This Fusion is the same underneath as a Jaguar X-type 3.0, Volvo S60, Mercury Milan Premier V6, Lincoln Zephyr/MKZ, and the Mazda 6 S. You can tell that Ford really took their time with this design. Nice high quality material, great fit and finish, obviously durable. My SEL is comfortable as a travel car on the highway, and as a stop and go traffic crawler. It has great climate control. The leather interior is perforated, so it breathes and cools off quick. Its remarkably cheap to maintain, even at the dealer. Handling is amazing for a 4 door sedan. With almost all city driving in NYC, Im getting an average gas mileage of around 27-28 with premium. Not to bad for a 221 horse sporty sedan. I highly recommend this car.

Value Ranked 2006 Toyota Camry XLE V6 worse.
"Fit and finish. Better quality. Better handling, braking, and steering. More economical when it comes to maintenance, parts, labor costs. Available All wheel drive too."
Would Buy Ranked 2006 Toyota Camry XLE V6 worse.
"Handling, steering, braking, comfort of the interior, quality of materials. Just an all around better car."
