Luxury Diesel Truck — Performance-Torque powerhouse, especially when properly modified. Braking exceeds needs of the standard vehicle, even when heavily loaded. Build Quality-The truck is solid. Just ending with 600whp/1,000wtq., the front hubs start to suffer. That is all I have had fail. -The Truck is an Amarillo Edition 6.0L Diesel. I see 17mpg/city, 25mpg/hwy. And it pulls like a DEMON. Outperforms my previous 2007 GT in acceleration, comfort, reliability, and it goes everywhere. Ultimately, a luxury diesel truck that does it all, especially bring a smile to the owner's face!

Pros: Amazing power, luxury, fuel economy and flexibility

Cons: parts start to suffer under extreme power loads...

Lots Of Power Fuel Economy Sucks — 6.0L diesel has lots of power but I only get 15 MPG but no matter what I tow or put in the back I still get about 15 MPG

Pros: OK ride can pull just about anything
with the right tires can go just about anywhere

Cons: alternator sucks I'm on my 3rd
rear springs sagged after six months  went air bags the only way to go

Another Diesel — Surprisingly as much power as it's predecesor 7.3L the 6.0 can be a little short on low end torque but seems to handle a load just as well as the 7.3. The twin turbo would help.

Pros: Decent mileage for a heavy duty truck

Cons: Lacks some low end torque

F250 — Overall i hated driving this truck. Performance wise it was dog slow, but it did have the 5.4L engine. As far as reliability i didnt have any issues other than the throttle sticking when pushed in fully which may be dangerous in a faster verhicle. I didnt like the look because the chrome that came stock was very "plasticy" up close.

Pros: big, cheap,

Cons: lots

I Would Rather Push My Ford Than Drive A Chevy!!! — By far the best truck I have ever had. It is absolutely a dream. The only modifications I have made thus far is a Superchips Programmer. I plan on adding an AFE Stage II Cold Air Intake, as well as 5" stainless exhaust from the turbo back. I have also gone from 275 tires to 305 without any lift(Like to see you do that on a Chevy) I added the BF Goodrich All-Terrains. Would definately Buy Another!!!

Pros: Well I know for a fact it will out pull a dodge!!! Thats a plus, I think?

Cons: I don't know what the back of a Cummins or Duramax looks like!!!

How Many Diesels Do Dry Burnouts? — The 4x4 worked pretty good, but not enough clearance got the frame hung up at several jobsites. Drove nice, used it once with a dual axel trailer with my car on it and still had descent accel and power on hills while in tow mode.

Pros: Awesome accel, city and highway.

Cons: Cheep feeling interior compared to the f150s i driven.

Fair To Partly Cloudy...looks Better Than It Drives — I LOVE the HD accents....from the seat to dash-work and even embossed in the custom windshield. The stock radio that came with the truck was immediately "junked" in favor of a Nav/DVD component and full custom stereo work-up. I even found a nice HD Tonneau cover for the bed. Overall a fair truck, but I will ultimately part with it and not shed one tear.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Good mid-range power out of this smaller 6.0 POWERSTROKE....not been a bad truck overall other than it's the worst riding 3/4 Ton I have ever driven.

Cons: Too many electronic/computer components that if they fail the truck is dead. EGR valve is a $3500 ticking time-bomb every 4 to 5 years...

2006 Ford F-250 Lariat — I love this truck but thank God the gas prices have come way down since I purchased it. It would cost a fortune to drive at the $3.50 - $ 4.00 a gallon prices we have had in recent years. This truck is great for pulling my camper which is the main reason for buying it.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Excellent towing capacity, lots of power and room for the whole family.

Cons: Poor fuel economy, does not fit in parking spaces of most business.
