Great Car — It hauls most all the stuff I want to haul and has three rows of seats for passengers. It will tow most items with the 8 cylinder motor and has great pickup for the highway. A great family sport utility.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: Comfort, utitlity and looks

    Cons: moderate to low mpg

Good Car — Good Car all around, Acceleration, breaking and handling all very good. Breaking obviously weaker compared to the BMW. Black with chrome foot rails as well as chrome wheels. Paying for gas sucks but worth it. The car is fun during bad weather.

    Pros: 4WD

    Cons: It's not the BMW

If You Need To Take A Family Of 5 Camping And Tow A Boat, This Is Your Vehicle. — Performance the 4.6 is rated at just under 300 hp along with the six speed automatic makes for strong performing vehicle. Build Quality has been very good the SUV has 87,000 kms with no issues. With the switch to CUV the vehicle is starting to look dated but we are still happy with it's appearance. Cost of owner ship no maitenance except regular preventative. Mileage is what you would expect I commute 35 kms each way to work about half and half city highway and I get about 13 liters per 100 kms or about 21 mpg. As for fun it is obvioulsy not a sports car but corners and handles well with little body lean

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Excellent tow vehicle, lots of interior space and comfortable for long trips

Cons: If you don't need the towing capacity mileage is a consideration. Vehicle has a couple of annoying things in 2006 the front door handles were in a awkward position (changed for 2007)  Throttle response is abrupt at low speed making it difficult to drive smothly in a parking lot.

Pos — it's a gas hog, it's balky, it's slow/fast, it's a ford and it breaks all the time. the interier is laid out crapy. it is hard to access any thing in the engine compartment. overall it is a POS.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: none

Cons: all the above and more

Great! — Great acceleration and braking for a SUV. Has not need repairs. Exterior looks great, interior could have some re-modeling. I have been averaging around 17.5 MPG! It is very fun to drive, especially off of the road! Get it. You won't be disappointed!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Has a nice sound system

    Cons: Can't think of any

A General Motors Convert — This is my 1st Suv and my 1st ford product. Bought the car after only 1 test drive. Great deal with all the depreciation. I have owned two buicks, a park ave and more recently a regal, as well as a chevy. This car has outperformed my expecatations. It's ride is intoxicatingly smooth and the v6 works fine for me as it's just me and my girlfriend with no kids. The styling is great and I love the distinctive grill between the trim lines. Love sitting up high and I feel like I am scrubbing the ground when I get in my girlfriends volvo. Car feels solidly built and you feel sufficiently protected if there is a crash. I have to get used to the lower mpg but I had already prepared for that before I made the purchase. Have no complaints at this time, but the car is only 3 weeks old in my driveway and has about 24k miles on it. Looking forward to at least 3-4 years of ownership if not more and I am very pleased with my purchase.

Pros: Styling, build quality, seating height, smooth, compliant ride, ample cargo space, rear park assist

Cons: Fuel economy-but it is a truck!

My Explorer — i love the heated seats! nice and toasty in the winter weather. the only thing i would change bout this Explorer is the Wheels and addition of Fords Sync/ Navigation system. The only problem i have had with my Explorer is, it miss fired once and fouled out a spark plug. other than Regular oil changes it has been problem free for 84000 miles.

    Pros: Near Maintaince Free

    Cons: Only one maintance issue

Ford Explorer 2006 Eddie Bauer — Great for hauling kids, dogs, bikes, surfboards and general yard stuff. Very utilitarian, a lot better on the gas than you'd think...about 18 in town...and that's stop and go. Great on the highway, around 22-25 mpg. Very stable, handles a lot better than my 1999 Explorer. All in all, a good buy, a good brand, a good truck. Looks sharp, but needs a re-design on the interior functionality. IPOD docks, phones, etc. It's my third Explorer, but, I'm ready for a little hot car next. I'm getting old.

Pros: Good, all-round truck - comfortable seating for 7. Easy to re-configure seating, nice interior.

Cons: Needs to update to the 21st century. I live in my truck, would like a little office space.

Explorer — We love this vehicle also! We have always had an Explorer. This Ford blue in color replaced a black one, we use this car in town and also for travel and have plenty of room. It is great when hauling kids around because there is a third row seat for plenty of room.

    Pros: third row seat

    Cons: none

Big Improvemnt Over My Last Vehicle — I definitely like driving my truck. I got it because I didn't trust my jeep on interstate.

Pros: rides real well, American truck, very stylish

    Cons: gas mileage
