Ford Escape Xlt 3.0 Fwd — Great gas mileage. The 3.0 L V6 gas plenty of power. Very sure footed in bad weather, heavy rain and light snow. You will feel every bump in the road, similar to other short wheel base SUV's. Front brakes could be better (ceramic pads) as stock pads leave plenty of brake dust on the rims. Rear drums, blah. Overall fun to drive around the city and unimproved roads.

Pros: Gas mileage, park anywhere!

Cons: Storage limited, front seats not too comfy for long legs.

Ford Escape — Awsome power in the motor. Good leather though he need´s some but heater.. Overall love it. Good in handling. He love´s gasoline. 16 ltr pr 100 km wich is little bit 2 much. I hate the orginal rims. Needs a little bit more boot room but that would mean that he will be little bit longer and that would destroy the handling.

Pros: Looks awsome

Cons: Anoying beeb in the doors and seatbelt warning

The Worst Of Both Worlds — Ride quality is VERY poor. This mid-sized SUV is based on a truck chassis, which is immediately apparent as soon as you drive over anything but perfectly pristine pavement. Being a truck chassis could lend itself nicely to 4 wheel driving, were it not for the low-slung suspension, leaving little ground clearance. The great sounding engine seemed to give everything it had to barely move the overweight vehicle.

Pros: Great Sounding Engine

Cons: Fuel Mileage, Power, Ride Quality, Vesatility, Poor Fit and Finish

Five Star — Did not come with some features inside that i would have liked. for example north, south, east west display, temp display, fuel display, other than that perfect!! acceleration good braking ABS not to fussy, handing xcellent no repairs needed yet, couple os squeaks due to ground effects and acc, rattles none that i can hear, appearance outside excellent inside good not fussy on the colour, cost of ownership, got the jeep for a very xcellent price, gas mileage well its a v6 and the price of gas today well you know how that goes, maintenace cleaning wise alot of work to make it look good outside!, other than that same as any other machine

Pros: very high up almost like driving a truck

Cons: they all should be 4 by 4 in stead of all wheel drive so you can change them in and out on the dash!

Sweet Small Suv — This was a company car for my dad's work, now it is my mom's car. We got it to replace the Jeep with. It is very powerful and smooth, even more than I thought it would be. The color (orange) is really awesome because it is different. I drove it from Philadelphia to Columbus and it got 26 mpg- and it's a V6. Around town it gets around 20, because we drive it hard. So far it's been reliable- 68,000 miles in 2 years.

Pros: Reliable, engine is smooth and powerful, comfortable, unique color, etc.

Cons: Can't think of any!

Makes Having An Suv Fun! — I've had my Escape for a month now. It has all the cargo carrying capacity of a regular SUV with a fun ability for light off-roading, all with GREAT gas mileage while still maintaining a decently comfortable ride and impressive handling. I have the 2.3 liter 4-cylinder coupled with a five-speed manual. The manual is the only way to go in my opinion.

Pros: Standard anti-lock brakes. Remote keyless with pw/pl/pm. Great mileage. Great cargo capacity. MP3 stereo. Styling a bit conservative, but sporty enough to avoid being boring.

Cons: Folding rear seat is a bit of a chore. Doors could use a little upholstery. Wish I had 4WD.

Reliable, Great In Rotten Weather And Priced Right. — I wanted something in the 30K range with 4 wheel drive that looked good and was reliable and this Escape has lived up to my expectations. Not exactly a Tahoe by any stretch...but this has been a very pleasant vehicle to drive.

Pros: Great acceleration, awesome in the snow and the gas mileage is pretty good for what it is.  The ride is smooth and braking is great.  The handling is pretty smooth and very little body roll in turns.  Nice amount of cargo room too.

Cons: I'm not too happy with the tilt steering lever location , a light under the hood would be nice.  I have no major complaints about this vehicle.

A Dependable Car —

It lacks desired horsepower, but makes up for it with its spectacular AWD system. It is probably the most bad weather dependable car my family has ever driven. It can take the worst winter road conditions and plow through them without missing a beat. It has ample room in the back end for luggage, and plenty of leg room in the front seats. The back seat lacks much leg room, and is not very comfortable for extended road trips. Its gas mileage leaves much to be desired as well as its engine power. The Escape, like almost all small SUV's in its class, lacks proper ventilation for the back seats. It is either freezing cold or boiling hot in the back while the front seat passengers must either freeze or burn up in order to get the air movement necessary to maintain comfortable temperatures in the back. It doesn't have the best sound system, but it doesn't lack quality. Overall, it is a good car if you need to go anywhere or get through anything. As a practical family car, or as a around the city car, it is not the best choice, but on those snowy and stormy days you'll be glad you have it.

Pros: AWD system, cargo space, and dependability.

Cons: Engine power, mileage, back seat room and air flow.
