Gm Does In Fact Build Awesome Cars — Smoked a BMW at 150 MPH on the way home from Talladega after I got it. Overall quality inside and out. Runs on 4 cyl when 8 is not needed. Great mileage for an V8. The new Camaro is my next dream car!

Pros: Always wanted one and I loved it

Cons: I dont own it anymore

It Get's Me From A To B — The acceleration, braking, and handling are all adequate for the price you're paying. If you want better in all catagories...get the SS. No repairs have been needed and there are no noises, but water seems to get in behind the door panel. Interior design is good enough for me...not too fancy, but the exterior isn't exactly my style, but it's not ugly. It gets decent gas-mileage. Usually around 20 or more per mile. No extra mainanence has been needed aside from scheduled tune-ups. Not a whole lot of fun but a very practicle car.

Pros: A/C is great.  Seats are comfy.  Automatic start

Cons: No tape-deck.  Not a whole lot of back-row leg room.

Would Purchase All Over Again!!!! — Ever since Monte Carlo came out with the new body style in '06, I knew I had to purchase one... The LT 3.9L has the same performance levels as the SS except it lacks the SS symbol on the exterior. Over All this is a great one to two person car.

Pros: The performance levels are excellent!!! Great Stereo system options!!!

Cons: This is not a family vehicle.. Difficult to put a car seat in the back

Nice And Fast — 5.3L V8 with 303 Horsepower. How can you go wrong with that. It also has GM's Displacement on Demand shutting off 4 cylinders when they are not needed. Helping save a little in the pocket on gas.

Pros: I love the V8, lot of power

Cons: Its black, it gets dirty to quickly

Great Car Except For "tire Monitor System" Alerts — I love the car and just wish this alert would finally go away. I have had tire valves replaced, key fobs have been replaced, antennae has been replaced, remote starter has been replaced and now awaiting parts for monitor system. :: Sigh ::

Pros: Sleek style

Cons: Continual alert of "tire monitor system that needs servicing" which is still an issue.

This Is My Baby And There Are Few Cars That I Would Take Over Her. — Got this Monte in August of '06 with 16/17k miles on it. Now sitting at about 48k miles. I've only put about $900 into her. Had exhaust work done in July of '07, installed two 12" Kenwoods in the trunk with a 400 watt amp, drop in K&N filter until I get around to making a custom intake, 7 color LED underglow, various other little things all through out aswell. It's the details that count.

Pros: I love the look, and the looks I get, plus it can hold it's own against most other cars.

Cons: Not many, tend to scrape the front bumper on some roads, but that'll just get worse if I
drop it and throw on a body kit.

Most Pep I've Had In A Vehicle Since The Early Seventies. — Great combination of comfort, style and performance. I've taken it on a few long drives (300-500 miles each) and never feel fatigued. Whenever I need to pass - no problem! Good sound system. Good handling. Have had some trouble with various censors (tire pressure, engine, etc.) All have been bad censors - no actual problems with the vehicle.

One Of The Best Monte Carlo's Ever! — I wished I could get more speed out of this vehicle, but highway wise it was the best Monte Carlo SS I have ever driven. I will purchase this car again, and I hope it's the 2007. Looks great with stock rims.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS performs great in traffic, and unlike later models accelerates beautifully on the high way. Mine came with the auto-start, which was great in the winter weather of Colorado.

Cons: The V8 engine isn't as powerful as I would have liked, especially when pitted against the mustang. It's still a car that handles best on straight away's, and not turns. You have to remember this car is front wheel drive rather than rear wheel drive like earlier models.
