Good — Chevy really went to work on rebuilding the impala and it looks amazing i love the body lines and the size of the car it really compares to the 96 impala's just that its a bit more roomy on the inside.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: good looking big car

Cons: tranny failure

Overall I Love My Car Excellent I95 Cruiser — smooth ride, comfortable, ample torque on take off. so so gas mileage but considering it has a 3.9 litre engine I guess it's not bad. No major issues yet.Best feature automatic headlights and remote start that also turns the air or heater on depending on the outside temperature.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: smooth ,roomy , decent acceleration

Cons: resale value dismal, heavy front drive bias

06 Impala Lt (pimpala) — Bigg Rooommmmyy Car. Standard Lt with 3.5L V6 215Hp. Very smooth ride and no outside noise. Huge trunk probaly capable to hold 5-7 dead bodies hahaha. Nice Newer Design with optional Moonroof and MP3 capatable sound sytem. Sound in not to loud but very clear and the speakers pound out bass. Very Good on Gas like 500km per $50 full tank. Will Look Great with rims and tinted windows.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: good for winter and on gas

Cons: the SS 5.7L V8 would be nice!!

Love Impalas — Great car for the price. Nice power. Handeling has alot to be desired. I came from a 545 BMW to this so I was spoiled with being able to do 90 in a sharp curve. But I do love me ride. Acceleration is great but I will trade it in when they switch to rear whell drive in 2010.

Pros: smooth ride

Cons: bad handeling

Good Car, Great Value. — We just purchased a 2006 Impala LS for just under $11k. We weren't looking for Americas answer to BMW, Mercedes, Toyota, etc. We just wanted a solid sedan with good fuel economy. This vehicle has exceeded our expectations. The fit and finish is good. The styling, while not dramatic, is pleasant and understated. The car has more-than-adequate power, and the fuel mileage is outstanding. When price is considered I don't think this car can be beat!

Owner for 0 years, 1 months

Miles Driven per Year:20,000

Pros: Simple design. Clean and simple interior is purposeful, and uncluttered. Interior materials appear to be built for durability over beauty (but they still look pretty good!)

Cons: The steering column shifter obscures a small part of the center control stack when the car is in gear. The cloth upholstry is cheap looking.
