Cobalt — Went to buy a pick up truck and was convinced to buy this by the wife. Its not a bad looking car, but the 160hp 2.2 L engine uses more petrol than i had hoped and interior build quality is dreadful even if not good looking. Accelaration is decent and on motorways it has plenty of torque which i love but couldn't go round a corner for crap. A very average car overall

Pros: Great motorway cruiser and sporty looks

Cons: exspensive to run and build quality an after thought

Cobalt — I love this car! I have put 3 sets of LED's into the car and a lot of chrome. I have also put the sticker COBALT on the windshield which make the car stand out. Good quality car and is fun to drive cause it is manual transmission. I also have been getting any where between 33 and 36 MPG which is awesome. Only paid 13 grand for it brand new and put about $200 in chrome and $60 in LED's. Good car to have and there are many of them out there, yet mine is the one that stands out the most. Roomy yet comfortable.

Pros: Stylish and fast

Cons: none

Ss Supercharged — I love everything about my car! Flaws-Chevy could of done a better job with the intake manifold due to its high amount of restrictions and should of done a better job with the cooling of the air from the supercharger. The supercharger heatsoaks very badly uptop the RPM's.

Pros: AWESOME FUN CAR TO DRIVE!

Cons: Heatsoak and Intake Manifold restircive

Fun Car! — I LOVE my car. Great looking car with exception to a few door dings, handles well - except in the snow. Gas mileage is decent, better when it is maintained regularly. Fun to drive, lots of head room and trunk space. I would definitely recommend this car to a friend.

Pros: Great family car.

Cons: Doesn't do that well in the snow.

06' Chevy Cobalt Lt — My car is alright. I wanted the SS Supercharged, but my insurance would sky rocket! It has a governer in it, which sux! It cost me a bit more then it should have. It could be a bit faster in my opinion. But all and all, it is a great car! Now i just need my 09 Camaro!

Pros: Clean look and good gas milage

Cons: Not high in Speed or HP

A Lot Of Fun To Drive Especially Quick Around Corners. — This car, despite the unexciting 4-cylinder, is a lot of fun. Having a sound system makes this car loud in a different way. Has great inside curves for the system. Makes every type of music sound perfect. With the right type of tuning a fun and fast car could be made out of the Cobalt. SS however is kind of a waste of money because you can spend that extra 3g's on much faster tuning parts. Note though doing it this way will ruin the chance to take advantage of your lovely warranty.

Pros: Great look and style to the interior and exterior (coupe looks way better). Great for a 16 year-old who has plans for a sound system and a kid you dont want driving to fast (haha). Best part about puting a sound system in this car is that the battery is actually located in the trunk in the spare wheel well. A power box is still located under the hood but you dont have to run a wire for your amp from your trunk to your hood because the battery is right there.

Cons: Not to fast. Pickup is good but overall speed isnt the best.

Be Careful Of Buying A Chevrolet Cobalt. — what i dislike about my cobalt is the transmission. the us can't build good strong and durable transmissions. you have to get a european one ot better yet, japanese built and design transmission. no i haven't had no problems (knock on wood) yet with mine, it's just that the gears are long, sloppy and i got a feeling that the clutch will need to be replaced in the next 2 years. other than that, it's a ok car, wouldn't rate it highly. the engine is good, the 2.4 ecotec motor is strong and can withstand punishment if you want to drive it hard.

Pros: good car for gas mileage and engine durability. handling is good, even better when you lower the ride height with an upgraded suspension like i got.

Cons: cheap looking interior. the cloth on the seats are not good. transmission is sloppy. rear window view is hard to see out of.

My Cobalt Ss — Overall performance isn't terrible, but it feels like it just lacks a little something in every category. Hasn't needed any repairs, which is nice. Gets about 30mpg on highway and for a good mpg car it looks pretty good.

Pros: Back end  looks good, interior looks nice however cheaply made

Cons: Just feels like its missing a little something in every category.

Fun Little Car :) — Performs well very well, want to make some modifications to it perhaps clear up some HP. The interior is nice clean lines and I like the appearance overall its sporty looking with out "sporty car insurance" costs. Got it for 12k out the door with only 30k miles on it. I love driving it and making sharp turns and putting the pedal to the floor! I would always recommend a chevy to ANYONE!

Pros: size, appearance and handling

Cons: The engine cover

2006 Cobalt — I wouldn't recommend this car to anyone. I love the look, but everything else is just crappy. I've only had mine for a little over two years, and have had more problems than they have solutions for. It's good for space, but it doesn't have high accelertaion.

Pros: appearance

Cons: everything else
