Awesome Car — great performance, good looking car could use more power, too bad they didn't put the turbo sooner, brakes could be better. good on gaz cheap maintenance, really fun too drive, i would recommend this car to anyone who likes speed and dosent have too spend too much money to have it.

Pros: good looking

Cons: brakes could be better too much power for the brakes

Cobalt Ss...is That Thing Supercharged? —

This car...is AMAZING! For the price, you get a 2.0L supercharged I-4; making a stock 205 FWHP. This number is more like 215-230 on real world dynos. You also get a sport tuned suspension, pioneer sound with a 10" sub, all leather interior, a short shifter, 18" alloy wheels, xm radio, great looking body kit, and a huge (sometimes hideous) wing. When assessing the build quality of the car, you must keep in mind that in its roots...it is an econo box, and it is built like one! It is made of plastic, like most cars, but i have never had any issues with parts falling off. The car looks great; some might say that the rear wing looks terrible, but I love it. Gas mileage is a bit of a concern, as it seems to get between 23 and 26 MPG average. The fact of the matter is, it is a forced induction vehicle, and if you drive it as such...you are going to spend money on gas! All in all, this car is the most fun you can have for under 22 grand, and for me it was the only way to go!

Pros: Engine, Interior, Looks, Wheels.....everything!

Cons: Lack of an oil pressure gauge.

06 Chevy Cobalt Ss Supercharged — I think this is one of the best cars for the price. It has enough acceleration (0-60 6 secs) that is fun but you can't get in too much trouble with. Fun to throw into corners and with Blizzak snow tires does great in snow and ice. Gas mileage is 27 mpg with aggressive driving. I still look forward to even little trips to the store just to be able to get out and drivel.

Pros: lots of torque, handles well, 27 mpg, fun to drive and reliable,

Cons: I didn't get traction control so I have to feather clutch to avoid wheelspin on takeoffs and for 2nd gear.

Cobalt Lt — The best thing about my car is the way it looks i like how its low to the ground and looks like its cutting into the wind. The next best thing is the acceleration and handling its amazing i feel like im driving a race car its pretty sweet. I also really like the interior of the vehicle the stereo looks futuristic and the seats are really comfortable.

Pros: acceleration, top speed , looks

Cons: small backseat

It's Ok..not As Nice As My Porsche Though... — Car looks good, however the suspension is something to be desired. The electronic throttle is also another piece of crap...likes to freeze intermittenly during winter months and tries to kill you if you aren't careful! fuel consumption is also another issue..seems to drink alot of fuel...but I go 140km/h to Sorrento..maybe that has something to do with it?

Pros: looks, sound system

Cons: handling and suspension

My Cobalt — The cobalt picks up pretty quick, stops pretty quickly. I like that i can make my tires squeal when I go around corners. The gas mileage on it is really good under sixty dollars to fill the tank at 1.40 a litre. The only repairs Thats been done has been for a squeak in the front, was a missing retaining bolt. One of the rims is different then the others kinda made me a little mad. But overall this car is really fun to drive.

Pros: how it handles

Cons: the different rim.............piss me off!!!!!!!!!!

Cobalt Ss Supercharged 2006 — No doubt the car is fast, even in stock form, and it loves to handle. Build Quality like any chevrolet of the era is questionable at best, but I go to Mcdermott Chevrolet for my service, so no issues. Love the shape of this car, only downside is black does not hold up well here in New England. Not the cheapest car out there, not super expensive either, about 21mpg which is nice, even with the supercharger, price point to buy it was a bit high at 25.5k Blast to drive, much more fun than some euro crap.

Pros: Fun Car, good performance for price, normal maintenance schedule, decent on gas.

Cons: Front wheel drive, moderate interior,

Cobalt Ss Supercharged — Horrible off the line, because of the 3.50$ gear box, the clutch slips, once it gets going its quick, the spoiler feels like it was mad at toys r us and wobbles in the wind, even at lower speeds, the sound system is great, love the wheels, i love the look of the car, the car feels very american when going around a corner, meaning it can corner too well, the lights are too weak,

Pros: acceleration, sound system, huge spoiler and look of the car

Cons: cornering, build quality, clutch, transmission, wheel hop, FWD, headlights

Great Car For The Price, And Moderate Hp — I bought this car used, it had about 8K on it when I first bought it when I came back from iraq, completely stock. I have modded it so far with a few things. now the thing has about 16K, and some good performance parts added to it. 8K in less then a year lol. anyway I race the car as much as I can, the only draw back is that it has a very hard time competing against the STI's and the EVO's which everyone freaking has now. anyway I love the car, I'm thinking about swapping out the SC for a hahn turbo kit. that will boost me to about 360 HP anyway the cars great if you want toknow anything else just let me know.

Pros: the body style, interior, and a bunch of other things I can't think of right now

Cons: not as much HP as I would like to have, before the torque damper it had a lot of wheel pop

Chevy Cobalt-ballin' On A Budget — This is my first brand new car. Overall I love it, for a 4 cylinder it has a lot of pep and is pretty responsive. It gets great gas mileage. It has probably the best turning radius I have ever seen in a car...it turns on a dime. It is very fun to drive and is a decent ride for long highway trips. It is a beautiful looking car, I love the body lines and the lights. Plus the color is absolutely gorgeous. I used to love the stock speakers although now the car has some miles on it and things rattle when the bass hits. Chevy could have done a lot more with it looks wise and interior wise. The cloth seats are really ugly and look dirty when they are not. There is a lot of road noise due to bad insulation. I've had a few problems with noisy rear insulators and my door leaking but the dealership fixed it all when it was under warranty. Overall the car has quite a few con's about it but definitely more good going for it, its cheap, fuel efficient, and good looking...what more do you want? lol

Pros: responsive acceleration, gas mileage, good looking, turning radius, sound system

Cons: plain interior, too much road noise, seems cheaply made
