2006 Cobalt Ss — Great car, love it. Great suspension for everyday driving. The 2.4 engine is good on gas (8-8.5 l/100km). Owns a big list of ricer cars. Lot of aftermarket parts. Nice stiff chassis and great braking. Fun car to drive.

    Pros: Almost everything.

Cons: its not the ss supercharged

Cobalt Review — The Cobalt is without a doubt a great car. The SS is no exception. The supercharger makes the car quick and fun to drive. It is a solid daily driver and gets very decent gas mileage if you dont get into the boost all the time. Definitely a good car for a us younger sports car owners.

    Pros: Driveability, Fun, Quick

Cons: I hate the color of my car, yellow is not my favorite...

Fast/fun Car — Got The Car With 7k On It Last October. Since Day One I Have Driven That Car Atleast 100 Miles A Day. Its Alot Of Fun Pulling Up To Mustangs Or Camaros And Walking Away From Them Without A Problem. I Havent Had Too Many Problems With The Car. Well Problems That Wouldnt Be Caused By The Constant Beating On It. On The Expressway I Get Close To 40MPG. City Right Around 32. The Interior: Comfortable. I Cant Complain. Im 6ft And Fit Comfortably. All In All This Car Is Alot Of Fun. I Would Recommend It To Everyone That Is Looking For A Fun Car And Still Wants To Get Good MPGs

    Pros: Quick. Good MPGs

Cons: Compact. Not Made For Snow

2006 Cobalt Ss A Poor Mans Corvette — Fun to drive in the sun, I recomend the sun roof like the seats but they are for the young quick but the transmission feels cheap very good factory sound system only problem so far is a touchy cruise control switch downside truck, oil changes, and snow

Pros: Fun to Drive, good on gas IF you behave

Cons: Snow is not your friend, Takes 6 quarts of mobile one

2006 Chevrolet Cobalt — FUEL EFFICIENCY...and power to boot. Good acceleration for 36mpg. Build is normal...a few squeeks after a few years. Very fun to zoom in and out of traffic. Lets see...2 1/2 years old and gone through 3 sets of tires. 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt LS.

    Pros: MPG. POWER.  FUN FACTOR

Cons: Audio Quality in base models.

2006 Cobalt Ss — This car is.... amazing!! Best bang for the buck at the time. 2.0L I-4, Eaton Roots-type supercharger. Quaife LSD, fwd. About 2990 lbs., this thing can move. So far I have only done an Injen CAI and GMP cat0back. This car handles like a dream, very stable and smooth. I can get about 30 mpg city (if my foot is a feather).

Pros: true performance at its best.

Cons: if you find any, you probably don't care about how well it handles.

Cobalt Ss...is That Thing Supercharged? — This car...is AMAZING! For the price, you get a 2.0L supercharged I-4; making a stock 205 FWHP. This number is more like 215-230 on real world dynos. You also get a sport tuned suspension, pioneer sound with a 10" sub, all leather interior, a short shifter, 18" alloy wheels, xm radio, great looking body kit, and a huge (sometimes hideous) wing. When assessing the build quality of the car, you must keep in mind that in its roots...it is an econo box, and it is built like one! It is made of plastic, like most cars, but i have never had any issues with parts falling off. The car looks great; some might say that the rear wing looks terrible, but I love it. Gas mileage is a bit of a concern, as it seems to get between 23 and 26 MPG average. The fact of the matter is, it is a forced induction vehicle, and if you drive it as such...you are going to spend money on gas! All in all, this car is the most fun you can have for under 22 grand, and for me it was the only way to go!

    Pros: Engine, Interior, Looks, Wheels.....everything!

Cons: Lack of an oil pressure gauge.
