This Car Is A Rocket!!!!!!!!!! — The BMW M5 is one of the fastest cars that I've rode in. It's just so quick and responsive. The 500 horsepower makes a different from the 2002 model with the 400. See I know this because my father owns one. When you are driving this car on the highway, you can call yourself cruising but you wouldn't actually know that you're doin about 110. And does it get lots of attention??? I don't think I have to answer that. It's an all around awesome car. I LOVE MY M5!!!!!!

Pros: Quick and super fast, Head Turner, 211 mph as your TOP SPEED.

Cons: Gas Guzzling V-10 Engine, Hard to keep the rims clean.

Pure Adrenaline. — Brilliiant engine, no wonder it won engine of the year award. Not much i can say, you have to drive it to believe it.

Pros: Beautiful soundtrack, amazing composure.

Cons: Nothing comes to mind,

F1 Based Engined Luxury Sedan... — I had a chance to drive the 500hp M5, and I have to say, I was sort of less than impressed. The SMG is nowhere like driving a real stick, and sort of gives you less of a feeling of the road then I'd like. The exhaust note that the old M5 had is gone, although the V10 still sounds pretty good. The car is more softly sprung than I'd like, and the front fascia does not screem performance to me. But I guess that's the point, sort of a German sleeper.

Pros: 500hp on tap, great handling.

Cons: Less than exciting styling.

Blah — drove this car, pretty advanced gearbox SMG shifts quite well but jerky driving in traffic. power was good but revs had to be up, throttle response wasnt quite like the e39 m5 but was deffinately faster. electric seat bolsters are cool but really doesnt seem to do much for my frame. ride is quite firm but understandable for a sedan of this caliber. The verdict? deffinately one of the fastest sedans out there with 507 hp V10 engine but i can get more car for 150 grand

Pros: read review

Cons: read review

The Ultimate Driving Machine — What can one say about a V10 M5...the car is truly magnificent and almost a perfect car except for the fact it gets about 12MPG. I cant find one other thing that I could complain about except for the older I-Drive is difficult to use perhaps..

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: POWER POWER AND MORE POWER!!!!

Cons: Literally does not miss a gas station

Power Style Sophistication — It's the ultimate driving machine. BMW has outdone themselves again with this engineering marvel. The V10 power plant is something worthy of its own page in the record books, with heart pounding pleasure delivering performance. A kick in the seat of your pants done with class. The E50 M5 is in a league of its own.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Performance & Styling

Cons: Fuel mileage

Ueber Family Car — Having some issues with SMG, sometimes pauses from 2nd to 3rd in high revs, actually shows traction control sign when it pauses, so I think it's waiting for the revs to come down, but they are never in the RED.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fast, very fast

Cons: Horrible gas mileage, but that's the trade-off for a V10 ueber-car
