I Love It, My Mum Has One Too — Great car plebty of fun. only down side i have come across is the fact the the front tires slip so easily when its wet. but! great mpg regardless. the suspension is rough.. but i coluld care less about that. it does everything i want and need it to do. its a great long distance cruiser

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: lots of power

Cons: power at the limits then have to shift

Summary On The Car — This car is an all-around great car. It has great gas mileage, it has a lot of space in the car, and it has decent speed and performance. The car does 34 miles to the gallon. It's bright red, and the interior is alright. I just installed a new stereo system and everything and the music is great. I highly recommend this car if you need a reiable good looking car.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: gas mileage is great, great looking car, and adequet speed

Cons: a bit jerky off the acceleration

My Little Matrix That Could — Performance - 0-60 in like a minute! HAHA; but no, really, the car is zippy. It's fairly quick for its weight, class, and power. The brakes are a bit spongy and the clutch is a bit difficult with you when you want precision. Appearance - So it isnt the neatest looking car, but there are some body kits out there that suit it well. We'll see how that turns out. Cost of Ownership - to be Truly determined; however, on gas it does great when the AC isnt on. I havent changed the oil cause it is still good. No issues have risen in the 1000+ miles I've added to it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: quick, efficient, proficient, and spaceous.

Cons: spongy brakes, a/c reduces fuel efficiency dramatically, and the car is zippy.

My Mighty Matrix — 1. I can carry just about anything in the trunk. The read seats and the front passenger side seat all fold forward. I fit a 9ft rug in there, and countless pieces of furniture. 2. I get about 24 MPG with my use of cruise control and my safe driving. 3. The all-wheel drive is a MUST for New England winters. I can get through any snow conditions. 4. This car is SOLID, and it looks great, too. 5. Maintenance very reasonable, and repairs are practically non-existent in the 4 years I've had my Matrix. 6. It doesn't have good pick-up, but it handles really well and is FUN to drive.

Pros: AWD, cargo space, performance, cost of ownership, cool-looking, and FUN

Cons: Can slip in ice and snow with no snow tires, but still good for winter. Would love better pick-up.

Good Car If Your Looking To Buy One. — This is a good over all car. It can do almost anything you through at it. It can move just as much crap as a truck but can double as fun in th canyons when you are not halling stuff across town. It gets about 25 mpg on average but I have been told that I have a heavy foot. If you are going to modify somthing on this car hands down lowering it was the biggest help over all.

Pros: Over all will do 90% of everthiyng you through at it.

Cons: I just wish it had a bit more horsepower under the hood.

2005 Toyota Matrix — looking for a Matrix? Get the 2008 leftovers before they're gone. sporty looking, peppy engine, great fuel economy modern, tons of standard features. nice accelleration, easy to maintain, no surprises when in the shop took car half way across country, great MPG, comfortable ride, can take aggressive maneuvers without complaining.

Pros: gas mileage, handling, appearance

Cons: some body parts (ground effects) poorly designed

Kinda Like Mine...only Mine Has Pretty Dark Tinted Windows. — I like this car. It's a step down from what I had before it, but I have never had any major issues with it.

Pros: I think it's a cute car.  It's a good size for me & my kid.  I like that the rear and front passenger seats all fold down in case I have something big to haul.  It was very helpful when I moved.

Cons: I think the only thing I don't really like is the road noise.

I Freaking Love It! — Performance: In terms of horsepower it has plenty. BUT in terms of torque.. it is severely lacking but has enough to get by. Braking is phenomenal. One of the best stopping powered cars i know. Handling is fantastic for a front heavy front wheel drive sports wagon. It doesn't chirp the tires or run wide. Just grip till you have pushed too far. Build Quality: Repairs other than normal maintenance all is cheap ..... But the interior rattles during the winter. Appearance: i love the look of this car but the 03 front bumper design was far better than the later models. Cost of ownership: For being a "sports wagon" it gets pretty decent mileage. i have gotten 41mpg on the highway. and average about 30mpg in the city. but that takes a lot of carefully driving. And the sad thing about this car is that it requires at least 91 octane. Fun? Yes this a very fun car to drive. Even your friends can come along.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Drives miles ahead of its looks.

Cons: Gas grade and insurance.
