2005 Proton SavvyReview

Proton Savvy — Performance – Good acceleration for a puny 1.2L engine car, brakes needs improvement. I can reach 160km/h easily, but not maintaining it on 170km/h. Engine sounds like it gonna explode soon. Build Quality – quite ok so far, little rattles on the door knob. Interior is plasticky, but heck, it's just a RM40k car. Appearance – Looks fine to me. A bodykit will be just nice. Cost of Ownership – 17km/liter on 100% city driving. What do you think? Parts are not as expensive as what others think. Fun Factor – This car is fun to drive. Now it's time to do some performance and exterior upgrades..

Pros: handling, performance

Cons: plasticky interior, noisy cabin
