For The Money, Power, And Style, Plus Not Every Joe Has One, I Give It A 9 Out Of 10. — I would put a sunroof, heated and cool seats, illuminated steering wheel controls, and Aux.port outlet on radio, and somehow put some 40's under the wheel wheels. Power is fine, a little over steer but not bad. And the shifter must go if you plan on keeping the car. To loose and sloppy. just my 2 cents worth. If I sell her, I will get another one....

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Can not beat the HP power and fun when wanted, to impress you or a friend.
Style that grows on you like moss.  It gets better over time like a fine wine.  Plus not everbody has one. Only one other in my town of 23000.

Cons: Getting in the back seat i guess, no one ever sits in the back. lol  Keeping the tires to ground can be a challenge sometimes.

Sex On Wheels — Overall this was by far the best vehicle i have own, as a bacholar its was great but since my family has grown +2 i now need a vehicle with more space but if situation was different i would keep this car hands down.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: reliable, fast, power, eye candy, comfort, handling, GTO

Cons: great car for single person or couple, but once kids come into family, no longer practical.

Ture Sleeper At The First Glacne With A Great Interior And Lots Of Power. — Great ride quality. Excellent build quality, love the interior. smooth tourq through the range. Good stereo. Needs Mp3 capability and an ipod jack. Only one power outlet. Fuel mileage could be better I average 17 driving to school, and about 21 for long 100 mile plus trips. I have the 4 speed Auto, i feel that this should have been a six like the manual. The fuel take lid wears out quickly and wont latch shut, still works but cant be locked shut now.

Cons: Needs Mp3 capability and an ipod jack. Only one power outlet. Leather on back seats is too tight, the seems on the top ripped, had them recovered under warranty kept out of sun and they ripped again in a few weeks. Power Ranked 2004 Pontiac GTO Coupe worse.
"6.0L LS2 V-8 vs. 5.7L LS1 V-8 means 50 more horsepower and its very noticeable. The car is significantly fast, more than the 50HP would imply. However, the LS1 is a tiny bit more reliable"
Handling Ranked 2004 Pontiac GTO Coupe worse.
"Brakes are upgraded for 2005 model year and are noticeably better, but not track-ready when stock. "
Looks/Style Ranked 2004 Pontiac GTO Coupe worse.
"Hood Scoops and option packages make the difference. "
Front Seats Ranked 2004 Pontiac GTO Coupe worse.
"Seats are widely considered among the best in a General Motors vehicle. "
Back Seats Ranked 2004 Pontiac GTO Coupe worse.
"Difficult to get into rear seats, but being buckets everyone thats ever been back there under 62 is VERY impressed. If you are much above 6 tall though, your head may hit the rear glass. "
Cargo Capacity Ranked 2004 Pontiac GTO Coupe worse.
"Trunk space is small for cars size due to US regulation fuel tank relocation, but its not terrible. "
Would Buy Ranked 2004 Pontiac GTO Coupe worse.
"Buy what you can afford; pretty easy comparison but dont forget about the upgraded brakes in addition to the engine improvement"
