Very Nice Car — This is one nice car. Does everything well, goes fast, handels great and is comfortable. And the mileage is in the mid 20's. Since I have owned the Altima all that I have had to do is change the oil. What more is there to say....very good car for the money.

Owner for 2 years, 6 months

Miles Driven per Year:20,000

Pros: Nav system. Really works

Good — When I found this car on the dealer lot back in 2005 I couldn't afford it but wanted it as bad as a Snoop needs a Dogg. A very hard car to find used. I've now had mine for more than two years and love it to pieces. Huge interior for a vehicle of this class, (remember Nissan's "4 door sports car?), and has better interior/exterior finish than any other 3rd generation Altima. I autocrossed it last year. Took third place in GS class it's that good of a road car. Ask for it to blow past the car holding you up on a backroad two-lane and it's done. Better be prepared for torque-steer though. 260+ horsepower through the front wheels can be a handful with the amount of twisting force grabbing for pavement. The brakes are so-so and could be better but most drivers would not use as much stopping force as an autocrosser would. The steering is spot on too. So fast that you have to 'pre-think' your sneezes. All in all, the 3rd generation SE-R is a blast to drive. A true driver's car.

Pros: good

Cons: good

My Red Racecar — Bouught the car this summer and haven't regreted a thing since. The moment I test drove it and took off I was sold. Even though it is a front wheel drive it launches when I take off and I love the response. The handling is not the best but still inspiring and fun. The worst is probably the braking, but why need brakes when all you want to do is go fast? I love the appearance in and out- the 8 speaker bose system with 6 CD in dash changer sounds awesome and the cabin design gets me excited to drive every time I get in. Outside the car is hot-roddish with clean wheels, dual exhaust, sweet dark red/maroon clearcoat paint, and smoked HID headlamps. I get lots of good comments and that keeps me happy. The car is awesome to drive and I will never get bored of it. The only thing that I would change are the little unnoticable dents and dings from the previous owner, oh and maybe an iPod adapter- but that can be fixed in the future if I can make some money...

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: 3.5L V6, bose sound, Xenon headlights, 240 HP

Cons: None

Great first car. Fun to customize it and it was a little fast too. Had some vinyl done, some new 18in rims, and new tires. I sold it for how much I paid for it.

"Because it is the highest trim. It is rare, a manual, has racing suspension, leather interior, Bose speakers, exhaust. Looks better, it is a sports car. A 350z engine."
