Great Car! — Mercedes-Benz CLK 500 Convertible, what more can you say!!?? It has the power, the handling, the appearance, the fun factor, everything you Would want in a car, its right here. Performance-5.0L engine, produces 302 HP, not too much, but not too little, Great amount for this car, as acceleration is QUICK. Handling and brakes are Top of the line1 Build Quality- It's a Mercedes! Build right, no repairs at all Appearance-Interior is top of the line with leather, heated, memory seats, with all Power options inside with wood grain. Exterior is sharp, this will get heads Turning! Cost of ownership, Gas mileage can be better, only about 25MPG's, but it’s a Mercedes. If something goes wrong under or outside of the hood, it’s going to Cost basically twice as much as you would say as a ford or Chevy, due to the Name and recognition it receives. Fun Factor-GREAT CAR, very fun especially since it’s the convertible!

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: Style,Power, Name

    Cons: Maintenance Costs

If You Want To Go Fast And Still Have A Good Back In 20 Years... — So after 2 C6 Corvettes I happened upon this gem of a car... Performance - feels heavy, and consumes gas like no other (ok so 20MPG isnt that bad) Build Quality - Just about perfect, no rattles or noises. You dont cringe when you hit a bump in the road Appearance - Decent, the AMG helps. Could still use a slower valence in the front, and maybe a different hood. Cost of Ownership - GET A WARRANTY GOOD GOD. Here is a small list of prices for parts: Rotors: $2500, Pads: $600, Tires: $1000 to 2000, Oil Change: $190 - these can be cut in half usually if done yourself or by another shop. Fun Factor - Handles good, doesn't feel as fast as an M3 or Corvette, If you have the cash spring for an SL.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Corvette lilke performance, with a well... Benz ride!

Cons: Repair Costs, Limited parts outside of dealer. Gas =(

Comfortable Cruiser, Excellent For Open Air Driving — One of the best looking MB IMHO, a step up from the previous version, and more elegant and cleaner than the replacement e-Class Coupe. Very comfortable to drive, nicely equiped with lots of gadgets, although no phone or iPod integration. Smallish trunk but big enough for the golf clubs with top down. Very quiet top up, very little turbulence top down. Very smooth engine.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Looks, engine, and it's a Mercedes

Cons: Expensive to buy and service

Top 10 Cars I Would Own. — This car is great. This car is how a German would build a Mustang. High quality leathers inside nice clean lines, and just enough performance to have fun with. Everyone looks at the car and says wow that is nice. However I own it not for the loos but for the fun of driving this car is made for the person that needs to get to point a to point b while having a blast doing it.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: Looks, Performance, Price

Cons: Rainy days, cold days, days you need the top up.

Great Car — this car is built to the best craftsmenship I have ever seen. The 302 HP is enough to make any car scared of it on the road yet little realze that a car this good looking can be so quick. this is one of the best and funnest cars I have ever owned and the soft top is on the complete other end of the spectrum then my old Jeep soft top.

Pros: 302hp, Convertable, 4 seater, FFFAAASSSTTTT!!!!!

Cons: brakes could be better, car is heavy

Clk 500 Cabriolet — Custom ordered this car back in 2004. Had leather sports seats with custom colors. Had a problem with the audio/NAV system where very loud squelching noises would happen if the temperature got too hot. Dealership could never fix the problem. Ended up selling the car for a down payment on a house. Loved driving this car tho, heard they are revising for 2010?

Pros: Fast and fun to drive

Cons: Audio/NAV system emitted squelching sounds when overheated.
