Beautiful Dependable Sporty Car. — This car rides and drives great. The look of this car is very family spotty. The average family can finally afford a Mercedes . This car is getting 29 mpg. The only reason I'm getting rid of thus car is I need something with more space. The front seats are spacious but for adults the backseat is not spacious.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: This car is a great looking, depenable and reliable car. Drives a rides like a Mercedes should.

Cons: The only con on this car is lack off space.

Still The Best Performance Value Out There, Tons Of The Best German Engineering For Very Little Coin — With 362 brake horse power my C55 can be scary fast! Taking the car onto the track for a full weekend of driving proved to be easy, the brakes never faded, the handling was great, predictable and confidence inspiring. Build quality is way up there of course, a very solid well made car. The car is a Q ship, does not scream attention, but those who know what AMG means, it says volumes. Gas mileage is not great, about 17 mpg, but I did not buy it for fuel economy! The extended warranty has been great to cover the things that wear out and break, maintenance is no greater then any other high end car. The Fun Factor is why I got the car, and on the road or track the grins and smiles never fade or get old.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: A big motor in a little sedan, is all I ever wanted from a daily driver.  Six years and 62k miles, best car I have ever owned.

Cons: There is nothing that I hate about the car beyond some minor issues...  The ugly black Satellite radio antenna wart on the trunk lid, smaller and body colored the next model year.  And I guess maybe the lack of leg room for rear seat passengers, but again I did not buy the car to use as a limo

Perfect Mixture Of Performance And Practicality. — I love this car as an every day driver. Looks good, drives very well. Its the perfect mixture of a good ride and handling. Acceleration is decent with the 6 speed manual trans. The automatics in this vehicle are pretty gutless. The interior is comfortable and stylish. The ride is very quiet and no rattles or noises to annoy me like most other cars. I get 30 plus miles per gallon. As with all German vehicles oil changes are scheduled every 13-20k but I still change mine every 5k. I bought the car brand new in 05 and it now has over 100k miles. I have never had any issues. Just normal maintenance.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Comfort, ride and handling, luxury, quiet, reliability, stylish.

Cons: acceleration could be better

Im Quite Happy — Performance is not the best. Is very slow to accelerate unless you are driving in the s setting. Had some issues with the electronics. When is too hot. The automatic windshield wipper turn on. Gas mileage is good. No major mechanical issues. Fun car to own and to drive on the highway.

Pros: prestige

Cons: speed

A Safe Way To Go. — Safety & Reliability and AWD to get me to across the mountains in the winter to visit family in Ohio! You can not go wrong with the quality of a Mercedes Benz; It's too bad I get bored with cars so quickly because it will likely last for dozens more.

Pros: Safety

Cons: under powered

I Expected Much More From Mercedes In Terms Of Quality Construction. This Area Is A Major Failure. — I thought I was buying a finely tuned automobile in the MB C240. What I have now is a money pit. The problems, such as the rear sun shade that won't retract, deteriorating steering wheel cover, and now a cracked sun roof drain pan ($2,000 repair) are never ending. I had a Honda Accord that lasted 18 years with no MAJOR repairs. It would run circles around the headaches the C240 are creating. For me, this car is soon to be traded. Maybe for a Toyota!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: the ride performance and solidness

Cons: electrical system, interior elements
