2005 Mini Cooper S Jc Works — Great handling car with tiny depreciation. We could probably sell the car for not much less than we paid 3 years ago. Handles superbly, and the supercharged and John Cooper Works tuned engine gives adequate performance in a small car. Still brings a smile to my face when I drive it

Pros: Quick, nimble and great handling

Cons: Small space for luggage and rear passengers

Fun To Drive, Looks Great, Awesome Gas Mileage. — Decent acceleration with the base Cooper. Build quality is good except for minor issues. I installed the side skirts which are OEM parts. Fuel economy is good. 50L tank, I get an average of 800km's per tank. That's about 45mpg. Fun factor is amazing. Just like the commercial says. "Go-Kart handling"!

Pros: Same as review above.

Cons: Some minor build issues, price of factory accessories.

Fun Car Not A Daily Driver. — the performance is good, I've done 110 on the track. quick braking, solid handling. Needs TLC, not to be road hard. Repairs cost me about 6k a year. Everything must go through the dealer so you pay top dollar for everything. overall the quality is so/so, I've had leaks in the sunroof, fan failures, computer glitches, stalls, you name it. you can't beat the look of the car, inside and out it is a good looking car. sporty and classy. The best part about the car is the other owners, 3 years and we still wave at each other.

Pros: Great looks, Fun driving, still good on gas.

Cons: Expensive repairs.

Minis Are Too Much Fun. You Might Not Be Able To Handle It! — i love my mini! i don't think i could even drive another car. she handles like a champ and "corners like she's on rails". They are moderately priced, prior to add all the "extras". bobbing and weaving in traffic was never so much fun before purchasing my mini, sonshyne. :) i love attention, and my car and i certainly get it!

Pros: since the car has a small backseat, most people think of it as a 2 seater; therefore, i don't get asked for many rides.

Cons: somehow, after rain or condensation, i always manage to be wearing it if i have the window open.  it's really annoying.

My Mini Max — Best car for Summers in New Mexico...Hands Down. It turns heads especially with the top down and with the Harmon Kardon sound system it is fun to zoom down the highway with my tunes. Alternatively it is the worst card for New Mexico's gravel/dirt roads or harsh snowy winters. Not a snow car at all. Right now...I love it....Summertime with high gas prices=I am in love with my MINI MAX.

Pros: Summertime and High Mileage with plenty of REV!

Cons: Snow and Bumpy Roads.

Love My Mini — This car still makes me smile every time I see it, and every time I drive it. Yes it runs on Premium, but that tank lasts me 2.5 weeks vs every week with my previous F150. I can't recommend the MINI enough. Love it!

Pros: Handling, looks, MPG

Cons: Not having enough time to drive it every day.

The Grape Is Grapealicious — I love my car! It rocks! It takes the the 15 mph turns and asks for more!

Pros: Purple, fast, handles very well.

Cons: Gets dirty.

Most Fun In A Car — Think of the last time you were in a go cart at a track and how much fun you had and how disappointed you were that you had to pay another 6bucks to ride again. now imagine that even at todays prices 6 bucks will give you about 40miles of go carting. the mini cooper s is a go cart that is much more cost effective.

Pros: Handling, braking, interior space, build quality

Cons: acceleration could be better but still quite quick

The S Is For Stupid — I didn't really like this car. Everything about it seemed stupid. Isn't the S supposed to be sporty? For as much as this car costs, I was expecing A LOT more performance. It isn't slow, but it isn't fast and all of the things tha tmake it "interesting" suck. The speedometer is in the MIDDLE of the car and it's huge. It's this big round thing with giant numbers that this car will never reach and a stupid gas gauge. Do you want to know where the tach is? It's right in front of the driver and about four feet away from the speedometer. WHY would anyone do this to a car? Maybe I would have liked this car if I had got the convertable and rented it for vacation. You know how you can rent mopeds to ride around islands? This should be the car version of that. Don't get me wrong I liked being in the little car... it felt cozy... but I didn't really gain much from driving it. It was more of a novelty than anything else. This is not the car for me.

Pros: Good in traffic and handling was superb.

Cons: Too expensive and too much hype.
