A Huge Lesson In Let Downs! — i was thrilled when i got this car. i was in love with it for over 4 years, but when that changed, it changed fast. i broke down 4 times during a 30-day period, and the dealership kept replacing the transmission. the panic attacks i had behind the wheel lead me to get a new car. i am warning everyone who has a mini or knows someone who does, get rid of it now. this car is a timebomb... google it! i've talked to tons of people who have lost their transmissions between 47,000 and 75,000 miles. it's ridiculous.

    Pros: great look, sleek design

Cons: expensive as hell to maintain, crappy transmission

My Mini — I loved my Mini but only 2 weeks after having it brand new I found out I was pregnant with my second child so I had to sell it one year later for a bigger family car :) Fabulous fun drive and funky to look at.

    Pros: Fast and funky

    Cons: Hard ride

Everyones Gotta Mini — Acceleration, braking and handling will give any $100+ thousand dollar sports car a good run for the money. Know that if you ever purchase one of these cars you WILL EXPERIENCE CONSTANT RATTLES. Run flat tires can be a bit costly as any flat requires the entire tire to be replaced in most cases. The warranty and maintenance program on these cars are superb.

Pros: Handling, build quality, panoramic roof.

Cons: Rattles, the run flat tires

The Big Go-kart — Its a BIG GO-KART thats it what else do u need to know. The performance is awsome, the 1.6L engine with the blower on its Mindblasting takes off like no tommrow and the 6speed transmission its just amazing. This vehicle is for people who want to drive not for the lite hearted who cant drive.

Pros: Power to weight ratio is good, handels like a go-kart.

    Cons: for drivers only

Most Fun Car I've Owned — My MCS is the more fun to drive than any of my previous cars. It handles like a go cart, has classic appearance, is extremely well built, and has been a great car to own. My only complaint is the gas mileage. Mini service has been very good and has taken great care of me and my car.

    Pros: Great fun to drive

Cons: Gas mileage sucks for a car in its class

05 Cooper S — No problems at all in 55,000 Km. The only time it sees the workshop is for oil changes and other regular maintenance. Drove it to fourth in group in this years CSSC Solo Sprint at Race City, drove it last winter in Autocross - the car gets driven hard and nothing has broken!

    Pros: Tons!!

    Cons: None

Love Me, Love My Mini — So far so fun! How can someone not like a Mini? Um, yeah, if you want a sweet ass ride, you'll definitely want to get one. But only if you can handle it... Have I mentioned it's fun to drive? Now if only I can make room in the garage...

Pros: Cute, sweet and just like me!

    Cons: requires high octane...

Mini Cooper Cabrio — it's a MINI. 'nuff said! It handles better than anything else I've driven. It accelerates well.Very few repairs so far.It has a very unique design inside and out. I've only paid for gas and new tires since I got it. Everything else has been ceovered by the maintenance agreement or warranty. This car is so much fun to drive! It's even better because of the cabrio roof.

Pros: fun to drive, good on gas, fun to drive

Cons: decent visability when top is up

Mini Cooper S: Unbeatable! — The car has soul! it is great for jumping round town, it's fun to take on 2 person road trips, it's acceptable on the highway, and who can complain about the fuel consumption? Current mods: 17" O.Z. Ultraleggeras wrapped in Dunlop SP Sport Maxx's, Helix custom CAI. Hoping for: BlueFlame Exhaust, TurboKompressor kit.

Pros: It hauls, and it's fun as hell!

    Cons: it costs money.
