Jaw Drop Handling — This is an impressive car. All handling aspects, G-force acceleration, guled cornering, and stop on a dime breaking are there when you need them. The only problem I have with this car is when the free servicing runs out so then does your bank account. You need to learn to maintain the basic servicings yourself. For instance, change the oil yourself. Yes it requires synthetic oil, but you can obtain what is needed for about $25 (i.e. Mobil One) at a local store instead of having MINI/BMW do it for close to $100!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Handle's like a go-kart.  I'm 6'2" and plenty of room, pretty peppy, and decent MPG.

Cons: Rides like a go-kart, BUT that's why nothing can catch it on windy road.  All BMW parts and service are atrociously over priced!

Good City Car. Not Too Great For The Country — has great MPG, its bigger on the inside than it looks, I'd keep it if i lived in a city but because i live in the country, there are more back roads id like to drive on but i cant because of the ground clearance.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: nice car, looks nice and rides nice.

Cons: only has about 3 inches of ground clearance

My Favorite Car So Far! — This MINI has been my favorite car. It's quick and handles great which makes it a blast to drive. The additional features like heated seats, heated washer jets, rain sensing windshield wipers, and Harman-Kardon radio give it the feel of a luxury car.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Small (but surprisingly roomy), quick, handles GREAT, and has good fuel economy. Such a fun car to drive!!

Cons: Back seats are small, which is to be expected. But when you lay the back seats down there's quite a bit of storage room.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great car!

Cons: I'm told, not so good in snow.  Time to move south. :D

A Blast — Drove this car on dry days since 2011 with zero problems. Took it to the dealer (Hartford) to get the heated driver seat fixed. Two weeks and $120 later I took it back unfixed. They started with a $600 estimate that ballooned to $1200 when they found out that they didn't really know how to fix the problem without replacing the entire seat. Fortunately I have had zero real problems. I just put in gas and have routine oil changes.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Quick and economical

Cons: Dealer work is too expensive and not very good.

Wow, What An Amazing Machine!!! — Loved everything!!! Very reliable, so much fun to drive, the most engaging car I've ever had!!! Absolutely astonishing vehicle, a lot of car for the money... I owned a lot of luxury, high end vehicles in my life and this car became my absolute favorite almost immediately, so much that my new car is now a 2011 Mini Cooper S.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Absolutely astonishing vehicle, a lot of car for the money... I owned a lot of luxury, high end vehicles in my life and this car became my absolute favorite almost immediately, so much that my new car is now a 2011 Mini Cooper S.

Cons: Cargo capacity is great for a small car, but can become a problem for a family of 3 with luggage. For two people - it's awesome, because the rear seats fold down 50/50 and you have more room than most sedans/

Super Fun — This was the first Mini that I have owned. I found this mini with only 38000 miles on it with the right trim package. It was just under the John Cooper Works. Totally fun to drive and plenty of room for a 6' 1" driver. The fit and finish of the interior was really nice and it kept that european feel as well. I would recommend driving or owning one.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: This mini was fantastic to drive. Great Handling, plenty of power and just very cool. No real issue at all. Great fit and finish inside and just a great overall experience

Cons: Interior latch failed, but I believe this was an issue for them until 2006.

Super Car — I love the looks and size of this car, as small as it is, it has room for four passengers, and with the rear seats folded I use it to transport all kinds of things, like two 55" wingspan model airplanes and all the gear I need to fly them. I don't like how expensive they are to buy and the fact that they don't keep their value as used vehicles. One more thing i love about Mini is their many (dealer) programmable nuances.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Superb Handling

Cons: no electric seat adj

Love My Mini! — Title says it all. This car is absolutely phenomenal, has great pickup and speed. It's like driving a street legal go-cart. It makes me excited to go to work every morning just because of my commute. You can't help but have an ear to ear grin when you get out of it. Not much cargo room though.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fantastic little car, much sportier than expected, happy that I bought it.

Cons: It's small.
