The 2005 Kia Rio Cinco is a 5-door wagon version of the sedan, packing more features, more cargo room, and greater versatility for those looking for more than just a commuter car. It has the same powertrain -- a 104-hp, 1.6-liter DOHC I4 with choice of standard 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. Like the sedan, the 2005 Rio Cinco has dual front airbags, but no side impact bags. Disc brakes can be replaced by optional ABS.
What you get on the 2005 Rio Cinco that's not standard on the sedan are alloy versions of the 14-inch wheels, power windows, power steering, a CD player, a rear wiper, and overhead console, and split-folding rear seats. When down, the 24.3 cubic foot cargo area expands to 44 cubic feet. Like the sedan, however, air conditioning is optional, as is power locks, and a rear spoiler. Acceleration power is always an issue with the 2005 Rio Cinco, and highway revving can be noisy. But owners like the extra storage flexibility, the ample headroom, and the comfortable front seats.
