Good Deal — Its a heavy duty vehicle that gets the job done in a fast but efficient way. Not only does it handle well but it really has the strength that is wanted in a vehicle. It is especially great at offroading.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

This Is One Of The Last Real Jeeps —

I know that many people rate the Wrangler as poor. They don't have power locks and windows or fancy extras like all the new cars. The ride is rougher than most cars and its no speed demon. It is a Jeep and it does everything it is supposed to do. This is my second Wrangler and fourth Jeep. My first two were Cherokees and I have loved them all. I wish that they still made the Cherokee. As for my Wrangler I wish that they had more of the older look with the square headlamps. Honestly for stock performance, 2005 was probably the best year for the Wrangler. I do NOT like the new Jeeps. I do NOT like what Chrysler has done to the Jeep name and I will probably never buy any Jeep newer than what I have got. That's why when my first 2005 got hit I went out and replaced it with another 2005. There are no comparable new cars out there to the 2005 Jeep wrangler and I doubt there ever will be. I have taken mine on two tracks, through a flooded river, jumped them on snow banks and even up rooted trees on my parent's property. It seems like nothing will break them, except a collision with a chevy cobalt. Even that was about a thousand dollars away from being repaired. I wish that Chrysler would change the Jeep back and find a better more efficient replacement for the I6. Until then I will keep fixing and rebuilding my 2005 until I can no longer afford to find the parts. I also wish all car companies would realize that the design and styles of the past cars are still popular and attractive, that is why people spend thousands restoring and maintaining them. All Jeep would have to do is bring back the old CJ, Cherokee and Jeep truck from the 70's with more efficient engines. Efficiency and miles per gallon are the only issues. Obviously more innovative 4x4 systems have been developed since them but take what works and takes the beating and make it look awesome. The new wrangler, compass, patriot, commander and liberty are not Jeeps, they are a disgrace and embarrassing. If Chrysler wants to save Jeep then they will need take it back to basics and produce Jeeps that can go anywhere and refuse to die. My I6 still ran even after I blew the heads and cracked the block. I drove it on a blown engine on the highway for 120 miles and it still started and ran after that when I had it replaced with a new motor.

Pros: This is one of the best Jeeps ever produced

Cons: Do NOT buy the New 2007 and newer Wranglers

2005 Jeep Wrangler Sport — Very reliable, have only had to repair it once, although it was somewhat expensive. It is fairly quick for an suv, but is difficult to drive. At the same time, however, extremely fun to drive and fun in the snow.

Pros: Looks, off road performance, comfortable, unique

Cons: The death wobble, google it

Rubicon Jeeps Are The Bomb! — Cool little 4x4 vehicle, goes anywhere, has locker front & Rear axles, you can drive around topless. Turns around on a dime. Gas mileage is not the best (15mpg) but better than my old 4x4 Chevy 2500 HD Crewcab Truck (10mpg). This my 2nd Jeep and this one is better than my first. I absolutely enjoy my Jeep. Very solid four wheeling platform.

Pros: Cool breeze blowing in my hair.

Cons: Gas mileage. (15 mpg)

Its A Jeep Thing — I lifted my jeep about 6 months after I bought it, the 4 cylinder is pretty good on gas and has given me great service. Its pretty cheap to maintian, until you break something...Its a blast to drive and goes over anything, including when I drove over a ford escort for a fundraiser

Pros: its a JEEP, works hard, plays harder

Cons: the ride sucks, but ts lifted so its to be expected

Love It — Greatest off road SUV EVER!!! It crawls over people like a beast! I live near the beach and its perfect! We can drive on our beaches and my jeep comes in handy- either for just fun or pulling idiots out! HAHA! If you are serious about jeeps- get a wrangler! There's nothing like it a good jeep!

Pros: great 4-wheel drive, like a tank

Cons: gas mileage sucks

Jeep, Jeep, Beep, Beep — I really like ability to go anywhere at anytime. It is the best car for South Florida. Never had a problem with it. I changed the air filter and that has really helped with gas mileage, which was not great to start with. Definately a low maintenance car. Fun to drive

Pros: Fun!  Versatile

Cons: Gas mileage is not so good.
