Jeepzilla For The Road — The pictures speak for themselves. I bought it the way you see it. I'm not the type to like a 4cylinder or automatic in a Jeep Wrangler. I think the best ones made had the 4.0ltr 6 Cylinder with the six speed manual transmission.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: This Wrangler looks and runs great! It has a mean look and is an absolute monster when you get it off road with the straight 6!

Cons: It's not great on gas and it certainly doesn't handle like most cars on the road, with the lift kit and huge mudders.

Loved This Jeep For Adventures...especially With The Doors Off. — The raised suspension took some getting used to. No cushy ride here. But in the 2+ years I've owned it I have not had to do anything but change the oil and have the e-brake tightened. It is great fun for heading to the beach, towing the kayaks or hitching up the bikes. If you like Jeeps, you'll like this one.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: It looks great. The interior/exterior & undercarriage are in excellent condition.
One mechanic said it needed new ball joints and another said it did not. I'd assume at some point this will be needed.

Cons: It is not fuel efficient. If you don't shift just right it can make a clunking sound from 1st to 2nd gear. Once you get the clutch/accelerator ratio right, no such sound. It is not comfortable on the highway: the big ties cause it to wobble a bit at about 43mph then settles out. It has a bumpy ride due to the suspension.

Fun For Any Age — No real items I can find fault with. The gas tank was replaced due to a common failure during fill-ups with the gas coming back out the filler neck. Overall this is a fun vehicle to drive. Wish they did not change the style.

Pros: Fun vehicle overall both on-road and off-road.

Cons: Driving it on the highway is the equivalent to pushing a brick down the road with respect to fuel mileage.

Very Good Rider — I disliked the gas mileage and space available for caro. I love the way it looks, drives, turns, and how reliable it is. It's a little rough rider but what jeep isn't. Never breaks down or has problems. Great vehicle overall.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Nice Looks. Will Go through anything. LOW Maintenance costs. Very Reliable. Great handling.

Cons: Not much cargo space. Gas Hog

Just A Playtoy, To Ride On The Weekends And During The Summer — Have only owned it for a year, Have not had any problems so far, just wish it had better brakes, since I have 31's which are not that big. I have a 1 1/2 lift, tires do not rub. The AC blows cold air. Just hot in the summer time on the floor.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Typical jeep, good AC,

Cons: Wish I had better brakes.

No Top No Doors — This is our third Jeep (1992 Wrangler, 1996 Cherokee) and it is the perfect mix. It is nearly as fun to drive as the regular wrangler but has room enough in the back for people and cargo. It also still looks like a Jeep. The newer models look more like a Hummer than a Jeep. Especially in the extended 4 door models. I highly recommend having a soft and a hard top. Our first wrangler was a soft top only and it stinks when the windows frost and you're outside with a bucket of warm water! Make sure to get the rear wiper and defrost. Nothing better in the summer with no top and no doors. I would love to see Jeep reissue a CJ-7 or a Scrambler. With the success of the Challenger and Charger, maybe someone in Toledo will realize that old is new. Go buy a Jeep!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It looks like a Jeep, rides like a Jeep.  It's a Jeep!

Cons: I bought it with an automatic thinking I might one day tow something.  Should have opted for the 5 speed.

The Wrangler Se Is Great Fun If You're Comfortable With The Downsides — I bought a Wrangler because I wanted a vehicle at a reasonable price that gave me multiple options (e.g. FWD, convertible, 4-person hauler when needed), and that I could work on. The ride is very stiff and the Jeep gets jolted around on rough roads so the ride can be tough sometimes, but almost everything is accessible and can be fixed by a home mechanic such as myself. There are tons of vendors selling OEM and aftermarket parts and accessories, and the prices seem reasonable.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Looks great, adequate power with the 2.5L 4-cylinder if you don't want to rock crawl, 6-speed transmission works well, reasonably comfortable (cloth seats), good outward visibility

Cons: Very noisy above 50 mph (soft top), anemic acceleration, no headrests for backseat passengers, little to no storage when back seat is in use, larger than expected blind spots when using mirrors.

Exellent 4x4 — The Jeep is an excellent on or off road car. Basically a convertible that can take you back and forth to work or off road to the perfect camping or beach trip. The soft top is easily taken down for relaxing full sun, wind in your face rides. It goes back up quickly if stormy weather approaches.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Great color. Tires and wheels complement the sporty look.  Removable Hard and Soft top. Cargo Rack, Quick cover and soft top boot.

Cons: Rougher ride and tire noise but whose complaining

Red Rocky Mtn Fun — One of the best vehicles to own in the summer. Its a truck and a convertable all in one! Dont drive a bright red jeep and not expect to get noticed. You cant be shy when you drive this vehicle.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Love the vehicle for a fun summer ride!

Cons: Not the best vehicle to drive if you want your hair straight.

This Is A Car That You As An Individual Needs To Personally Drive And Look At. — This Jeep is so much fun to drive. Its small fits in any parking space. I strongly urge anyone looking at buying a Wrangler to get the 6 spd Manuel you will need every bit of that extra gear. I couldn't imagine a 5 spd. I'd have no gas mpg. If its a windy day I get tossed around a bunch. I'm not to thrilled about the top its a pain to take on and off, I recommend watching youtube for putting on and removing the top. The fun things about my Jeep are that I can fit 4 people in it, in 4wd its a champ I love it. To cruise around town on a nice day its a blast. It has the 4.0L so it gets about 14mpg city and 18mpg hwy. Not sure if I'd ever get another one but, I'm definitely glad I can say I've had one because its a fun toy. Awful ride awful mpg but, this is not a normal vehicle.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Its a fun toy thats about it

Cons: I would think twice before letting a young teen drive this car its not the most stable vehicle.
