Perfect — I honestly wish I would have never traded off my Liberty. It was the perfect vehicle for traveling, driving to work, or going camping. I will have a Jeep again. I am broken hearted they quit making the Liberty. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: I loved everything about this vehicle. It handled perfectly and was roomy for the family and anything we had to load in to it, Cons: I have no Cons about this vehicle at all. |

I Love This Car, But Unfortunately In A Transitional Part Of My Life. — I love diesel vehicles, and this one doesn't disappoint. The only thing I'm not the biggest fan of is the chrome accents. But I've never been much of a chrome girl. This car is also great at hauling loads. But like most diesels, it's important to allow the vehicles engine time to warm up, and cool down. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: The vehicle has great power for it's size. With a new turbo, updated maintenance, easy handling, minimal blind spots, new break pads/routers, and no accident history (knock on wood), this little car proves to be a solid vehicle. It handles great off terrain, but like with most 4X4 vehicles, a lift would make it all the better (hence 3 out of 4 stars). The overall feel of this car is pleasant. Cons: There are some basic cosmetics that need to be addressed. Crack in windshield, basic wear, so on. But these basic, and small, problems don't ruin the overall look/feel of the vehicle. |

Great Ride — My Lifted Diesel 4x4 is comfortable and sporty, love the compact size, i can tows tons and get good fuel mileage. It does it all. Minor issues but nothing really bad. We use it for off-road fun and commuting. a Head turner too. Lots of guys and girls want to buy it. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: CRD Engine Cons: JEEP |

Jeep Liberty Strikes A Balance Between Off-road Capability And On-road Sophistication. — It's a good choice for drivers who like to venture into the backcountry, but need comfort and practicality in a daily driver. A higher degree of off-highway capability separates the Liberty from other small SUVs. Though less agile on the road than the so-called cute-utes, the Liberty is superior once you leave the pavement. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: The Jeep Liberty offers a good balance for someone who enjoys the outdoors. Day in and day out, it takes the place of a car or wagon. The Liberty seats four comfortably and can carry up to five people and their gear. Fold the rear seats and it can move two people and some serious cargo. Turn off the pavement and it's able to negotiate most trails with confidence. Cons: This Jeep has some hail damage on the hood |

Love This Car — superb handling in the snow. Great drive for long distances. Fit everything you need in the trunk. The back seats fold down flat opening up the entire back. Looks pretty beasty without any mods. Not too good on gas, but that's expected. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: fits everything. reliable. minimal repairs have been needed. solid machine Cons: gas millage |

This Was My First Car And I Don't Regret Ever Buying It. — I would have bought the 4WD instead of the 2WD, but it is still a great car. I drive about 100 miles per week and gas tank lasts about a week and half at this rate. Engine has a lot of power. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: This is a great reliable family car. It has never given me an issue or broken down. This jeep is sturdy yet comfortable. Cons: Fuel economy is average. |

Getting Rid Of The Liberty — Found out today that every valve on the right side of the engine, on my 2005 Liberty with 29,000 miles, is burnt. The story from the mechanic it is that due to some carbon build up and it has caused the valve guides to go bad. He also stated that not driving it enough can be a cause for the carbon build up. He also found that one of the timing chain guides had broken . . on the right side. Coincidence? So, $3100 later it is time to say goodbye to the Liberty Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Like that it is higher off the ground but still small. Cons: Major repair with only 28,000 miles |
