Off Road Family Vehicle — I really like the rugged looks of this vehicle, and adding a roof rack really ups the style as well as cargo capacity. This vehicle handles really well off road, and smooth sailing on the city streets. I really enjoy driving this SUV.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: This vehicle is so much more comfortable than my mustang, and has tons of space for luggage.

Cons: Maybe gas mileage? We use it for errands and family trips though, so fill ups are not to frequent

All Around Reliable Suv Able To Deliver On All Occasions — We've enjoyed all aspects of this vehicle to suit out family's needs. Being able to tow various boats, carry canoes or a storage box on our roof rack for trips has made our outdoor life more manageable. Going off road or traveling during snow storms has never stopped us knowing we have reliable and safe transportation. We'll buy another Jeep based on our satisfaction with this one and it'll surely impress it's new owner.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Reliable, versatile SUV, strong towing capacity, spacious cargo room & roof rack, plenty of power, great braking, safe all weather handling, off road & climbing capability

Cons: If I have to put something I guess I would site the fuel economy however it's actually better then most SUV's averaging around 18mpg and the benefits of a V8 make it well worth the cost

One Of The Best Kept Secrets In Suvs. Hell, Jeep Wrote The Book On Suvs. — I found this Jeep to be the best mix of style, power and comfort. He goes anywhere I point him and tows more than most "trucks" they sell these days! The iconic Jeep name is not lacking for support from this legend.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: POWER and looks. Refined yet capable.

Cons: Can't pass a gas pump.

Overall A Great Family Car, Good Looks, Good Power — We love our jeep. We have had the vehicle for 2 years, and have no complaints, besides the gas mileage, which isn't too bad for a 6000lb vehicle with a big motor. Gets our family of 4+ one dog where we need to go.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: HEMI! Good towing, and space.

Cons: All wheel drive. I'd rather have it selectable. The motor ticks (the infamous hemi tick)

Feels Like An Old Time Luxury Sedan — I have a love/hate relationship with my Jeep. The 5.7L gives it effortless power, but the single digit fuel economy around town is getting old. It's great in snow and has good cargo capacity. If our kids were bigger, the low second row seat would be a problem, but since they are in car seats, it's not an issue. Past 5 years, the reliability has been an issue with major repairs coming up frequently (starter, wireless control module, transmission computer, etc.)

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Smooth, powerful 5.7L.  Good seating postition.

Cons: Fuel economy.  Electrical gremlins starting poppping up around 5 yrs after purchase.

Great Jeep! 126k Miles And Still Going And Going And Going — I purchased this Jeep brand new in 2005 and I have been very satisfied with this Jeep since. I have put 126K miles on it with minimal issues. Would definitely buy another Jeep Grand Cherokee in the future. Great car for those looking!

Pros: The power of the Hemi engine, the reliability

Cons: Gas mileage

Love This Vehicle. — I loved the ability to tow my boat and trailers. Plenty of power with the all time 4 wheel drive. The vehicle is excellent for our family of 4 with two baby seats in the back. By far the easiest child seat latch system to use (and I've put seats in many types of cars).

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Reliable. My experience with Jeeps has been amazing.

Cons: climate control can be a little touchy.
