Love At First Sight — Very comfortable and reliable car to own. My 1st Jag, but not my last!!! Plenty of room for 4-5 passengers with a luxury ride. Surprisingly good fuel economy. Impressive visual appearance and an eye-catcher. Looking for XJK Convertible now

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Rides and handles exceptionally well. Joy to drive everywhere

Cons: None

Stylish — Great and comfortable car to drive. Lots of space in the rear seat and in the front seat, quiet when driving down the road and handles back country roads like a dream. Glad we bought this car, will see how repair costs go in the future

Pros: interior space, power

Cons: fuel economy, average 22mpg

Looks Great, Handles Great — Overall a great sedan but too much plastic under the hood and with all the room in there stuff put where it cannot be gotten to. Good gas mileage, handles well for a heavy car, lots of interior room, Radio channel alignment is squirely at best...

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: lots of room and power for a big sedan. Very nimble

Cons: too costly to repair at dealer , found an after market repair shop that is reasonable or do some repairs myself
Ford did not have a better idea when they bought Jag!!!

Classic — I loved jaguar since I was a young child. Have owned four a 340 sedan, an XJ with a four speed and electric overdrive, a 2000 XJR and have loved them all and yes they all had there own little quirk about them that I had to overcome. But then again they are all Jags.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great touring vehicle love the power, ride and handleing

Cons: The long wheel base on the R model.

Pure Joy — I have owned the car for 10 years and it was a great investment. The repairs were covered under warranty and the vehicle was dependable. I would highly recommend this machine if you enjoy Pure Joy and great driving. Go Get One.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Pure Joy

Cons: You tend to get spoiled when you drive a machine like this.  The ride, pick up, and the looks.

Excellent Executive Sedan For Less — Fun to drive. Great on long road trips. Some many be put off by the styling but is is a classic British charm and knows when to use good manners and when to get rowdy. Excellent deals available and surprisingly good fuel economy.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Excellent value for money. An executive sedan for less.

Cons: Outdated styling

Perfect Car For An Englishman Abroad — The Jag I always wanted - all the toys, most of them still work, fast enough to have to be careful, rare enough to turn heads, nice to leave with the valet parking, everything you need in a car, only costs £25 to fill the tank :-)

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The whine from the supercharger on kickdown

Cons: A bit fragile in the Dubai heat, repairs starting to get expensive

2005 Jaguar Xj Vanden Plas — The car drives like a dream. Couldn't ask for more performance or smoother power from the 4.2L V8. More toys than anyone could ever ask for either. Plus - it gets great gas mileage. All in all, the kitty delivers flawlessly.

Pros: Power, Ride, Handling, Features

Cons: Stock Grille

My New Jag Xj8l - 3 Years And Counting . . . — Performance? Man, I live in the wrong State, L0L I nail this baby and I'm 80-90 by the end of the block. Squeaks & Rattles? Only when I take my moms Chryslerout for a spin. Appearance. Well, would you believe i still get the compliments after 3 years. Cost of Ownership - yea, does this baby depreciate fast. But I get astonishing gas mileage. Long trips down the interstate a whopping 36MPG at a steady 80MPH. Normally I get low 20's with each tank although just the 2 mi to work and home pulls me down to 18. Who cares if it takes SuperHi-test. Fun factor. Yes, this car is fun to drive (and comfy too)

Pros: Comfort, style, responsive and reliable.

Cons: Negatives? Hey this is a Jaguar.

Xjr: Breed Of Its Own —

One of the most under-rated cars of all time. I know many people are prejudice about Jaguars in general but this car has completely altered my perception of the company. The engine is one of the smoothest I have ever drive. Power is delivered in massive amounts (400BHP) but it is extremely linear. The car, for its size, is extremely agile as I am able to keep pace with Mini Coopers and S2000's driving at a highly spirited pace in my neighboring canyons. The brakes are infallible...the 14.4 inch rotors are clamped by 4 piston Brembo floating aluminum calipers. This car has not failed me once...no major issues have arose during my four years of ownership. The styling is unique to its own as its distinctiive shape cannot be mistaken for any other car. With only 1,400 made so far, its is a rare breed of car to see. Gas mileage is amazing on the freeway where I can average up to 27.6MPG at an average speed of 85MPH. Maintenance has been covered by Jaguar so I have not paid a penny for anything. Its combination of style, performance, and reliability makes it one of the best cars I have ever driven and owned.

Pros: The car.

Cons: Consumes tires...but that's mostly the drivers' fault. :)
