Stands Out Like A White Man In Luton — i took on the job of building a powerflow exhaust system for this 4.0 v6 mustang, twin squares each side, once i was finished i took it for a spin round halow town it sounded the nuts, not the fastest yhing i have driven, but you get people standing in the street drallling.

Pros: big, bright and sounded great.

Cons: needed the good old v8 under the hood.

2005 Gt Mustang — its about time they brought back the old time muscle. The power is all there 300 horses and 325 lbs of torque. My upgraded interior is mint. The chrome dash package looks amazing and also have the old style red leather seats which set it off. Suspention wise i am running Eibach lowering springs giving her a 2" drop.

Pros: looks amazing, fast, fun to drive

Cons: bad on slippery roads, bad on gas

Giddy-up Pony! — I bought my 2005 Ford Mustang GT last year from someone that could no longer afford to drive it (gas prices to blame). I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. It's red with nice chrome aftermarket wheels and tires. Sporty outer lines and simple interior. Before purchasing, I drove to my mechanic to have it checked out. He was surprised there was nothing much wrong with the car. He said that most young adults beat on their cars (even new ones) and "wear them out" very quickly. This was of course very good news for me, the bloke selling the car and the Ford Motor Company. I loved how it felt as we cruised the freeway - like nobody can mess with you. It sounds mean and "tuners" usually leave me alone. The horsepower and torque are incredible from such a relatively small engine. I have no idea what type of performance upgrades I'll be doing, but safe to say there will be plenty.

Pros: Strong engine and smooth power.  Nice lines inside and out.

Cons: A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Ford Has Hit A Home Run. — After many years of wishing that Ford would return to the glory days of the Late 60s Mustang, it has delivered. This car from any angle is beautiful and faithful to the orignal. The interior is great, comfortable supportive seats, nice dash arrangement and seating for four. The best is left for when you turn the key and hear the V-8 come to life. A true muscle car with the modern comforts to which we have all become accustomed. If you want a car that is pure fun everytime you drive, this is it.

Real Pony Power — The v6 mustang has a surprising amount of power. Feels the same at 85 as it does at 45. Hugs curves well for not having independent rear suspension. Just a plain fun drive. On flat ground with cruise on, we get close to 30 mph.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Classic styling.  Cool looks.
Tight top, no leaks.
Good power.  Enough torque to pull hills effortlessly
Good handling.

Cons: A little uncomfortable on a long trip if over 5 hours.
Trunk is a little small.
Shift is long and stiff.  Really wants the Hurst kit.

Think I Will Keep For A Long Time. — Best road car I've ever owned. Real fun on our country roads, realty carves them up! Very reliable, only had to replace the alternator, battery and several sets of tires, in over 130,000 miles. Gas mileage is grate between 22 - 23 mpg around home, hit 28.6 on one trip to DC. most trips it will get between 25 - just over 26 mpg. Like the styling much more than the newer Mustangs. Rather than trade when its time might consider dropping in a new 5.0 and 6 speed gotta be cheaper and I get to keep a car I really enjoy.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Reliable fun, just an overall good ride for 2 people.

Cons: None, Except not the ideal car to take my mother and her cousin, both in their late 80's to lunch in.
