Fpv Gt-p — The Big Brother of the XR6 Turbo... Aussie V8 BEAST MACHINE - pure performance. THE FPV GT-P Along the same lines of the XR6 Turbo... but more grunt and roar. If the Turbo was a Lion, the GT-P is a Tiger. Now, all I gotta do is test drive the F6 Typhoon to make a good comparison. XD

Pros: V8 power... pure performance

Cons: Drinks petrol like Russian Courage and dodgy build.

My Xr6 — My car is heaps good. Its a 2005 Ford Falcon XR6. It has around 200KW of power and I am hoping to put a really big turbo on it. After putting a turbo on it, I am expecting around 300+ KW. For a family car, it doesnt accelerate too bad. It probably does 0-60mph in 5.5 seconds and after turbocharging it, around sub 5 seconds. I'm not sure if my parents will do it because they're not car freaks like I am. I will one day. The build quality is excellent and the interior is pretty neat and good. Its got sports seats and leather trim etc. The only thing I hate about my car is that its an automatic. I HATE AUTOMATICS! The exterior is pretty good, but I wish the car was a bit lower off the ground. Its got a sports body kit on it (stock) and it doesn't look too bad. Its done around 29,000 KM and its never once broken down. The engine is well built and is very durable but uses alot of fuel. In the city it uses 15.9 litres of petrol and in long trips it uses around 9.5-10 litres/100KM. The car is pretty fun to drive especially when you redline it. One day, i'll put a new exhaust system on it so it sounds better.

Pros: sounds good, comfortable, reliable and durable engine

Cons: NOT VERY FUEL EFFICIENT (15.9Litres/100KM in the city), needs to be lower,

V8 Race Experience Hot Lap Driver, And Coach — Replica V8 Supercar - XR8 with open exhaust, suspension and brake package similar to V8 ute race cars, full roll cage, racing seats and harnesses, slick racing tyres. Genuinely good things, good for over 200km/h at Eastern Creek and lap times around 1:50 min

Pros: Anyone who can drive a manual car can drive these and should be impressed. A real Supercar would be unmanagable for a novice, and therefore would be unsatisfying.

Cons: A real V8 Supercar will do 270km/h at Eastern Creek and lap in 1:30 min

Ford Falcon Xr6, Not A Bad Thing — BA/BF Series Falcons have been a common sight on Australian roads since 2002, multitude of bright colours, sharp looks and a powerful turbocharged inline 6 or double overhead cam V8 as optional powerplants are seen everyday. This one is a N/A inline 6, developing 182kw (244hp) @ 5000rpm and 380Nm (280lbft) @ 3250rpm. Not bad for your average everyday family hack. The difference between this model (XR6) and the base model (XT) is suspension setup, bodykit, alloys and interior. 1/4 mile times are fairly conservative being a heavy car, a manual one should cover it in 15.5, automatic variants around the 15.7/15.8 mark.

Pros: Room, drivability

Cons: Fly By Wire throttle, traction control

The Yellow Duck 'yellow Terror!' — 2005 Ford Falcon XR8 Ute. Tuned by Intune Motorsport (Castle Hill, NSW). Produces 235rwKw (315+hp) and 580nm. Absolute pleasure to drive. Drove to Canberra and back without missing a beat. This truly is a real drivers ute. V8, manual and a Ford... what more could you ask for???

Pros: Great accelleration, great V8 engine note

Cons: Thirsty at times
