Second One Owned — Best performance car for the $ spend. Fun to drive, good handling. Surprises many people with the performance. Good looking car as well with the spoiler and hood scoop. Tight to work on the engine but that is normal now days of course.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great performance for the $ spent.  Good economic gas mileage as well

    Cons: No cruise Control

Basics Of An Srt4 — Faast cheap fun and very basic motoring if you need leather seats go looking for another car. its comfy and is cheap on gas maitenance is tricky but simple enough you can do most of it yourself ive reccomended this car to other friends and they have bought it its been a while since i put the first paragraph up (about 35000miles ago) but the olny major issue with the car has been the transmission. the snap rings inside the transmission cannot withstand abuse very well. i rebuilt the transmission to be able to withstand 400hp although i dont have no modifications done to the engine to rid of the problem since chrysler will not fix this issue correctly. and the paint has gone bad. but aside from those two things the car still runs like i just drove it out of the lot 6 years ago Its has now been 31000 miles since last paragraph, the car has been re painted and has been slightly modified to keep up with the newer high performance cars of now, it still drives like ive drove it out of the lot, the exhaust was changed so now it its a much more quiet ride. i've kept up with its maintenance quite well, but you just need to keep an eye on sensors in the car most of the sensors (i.e cam position, cranckshaft, etc.) the sensors just get old but thats with all newer model cars.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: Cheap and Fast

    Cons: No Luxury

Fun, Cheap. — I love this car, despite the hate for it being a Neon. You don't see people calling Evos Lancers and STis Imprezas. This car looks great and it's really fun to drive. I'm glad people are proud of their AWD, but I live in the city and I don't need that stuff.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Love my turbo. Looks great. Fun to drive. Decent amount of room. Nice stock sub and stereo system.

Cons: Clutch has been bad since I got it. Previous owner must have tore it up.

It's A Good Car For A Young Driver That Wants A Little Boost. By Nina

The neon is okay. The turbo gives it some speed, but it's nothing special. I'm more of a Cobra girl. We way overpaid for it. It's probably only worth half of what we paid for it now. The only coo... Read More
