A Fun Car To Drive — Having purchased over 26 cars since the age of 15 (Hey,I'm from the Motor City, it's in our blood ;)) this is a passion that is a high priorty for me. Exceptional ride and handling dynamics, smooth and vigorous engines, premium interior furnishings, precision build quality, strong resale value. The BMW 5 Series earned its deserved reputation as the supreme midsize sport sedan almost on driving dynamics alone. Combined with standout styling, a well-appointed cabin and some of the most sophisticated technologies available in an automobile, the 5 Series offers something for everyone.

    Pros: Amazing vehicle

    Cons: None

Bmw 530d — Questionable looks but unquestionable ability. The 530D will top 150mph and still return 50mpg! Use the slightly clunky gears to propel yourself on a wave of torque in the slightly awkward driving position! It is utterly composed through corners, not the oversteering beast I thought it might be. Acres of room in the back and a decent sized boot too. And people dont want to spit at you or call you a facist because its not a stockbroker wannabe 3 series either....

Pros: Speed, urge, economy, handling, comfort

    Cons: Challenging looks

I Love This Car! — This car has been a great car to drive for the past three years. It is the only car that anticipates my every move and reacts instantly.

Pros: Fast, Comfortable, Agile, Amazing, Clean Lines, Quiet Ride and you never feel that you are going too fast.

Cons: New Tires every 12,000 miles!

Too Many Little Problems For High End Car — Mechanically sound. Lots (and I mean lots) of little things go wrong - poor trim, door seals replaced x 3, noisy sunrood, electronic problems, irritating and cheap interior (cupholders - aaaagggghhh). Better value out there for less money. I've driven BMW for over 10 years but this will be the last.

Pros: Brand name.  Fun to drive.

Cons: Resting on their laurels and pandering to the masses at a cost of quality.

Nice Euro Design A Usual — The exterior is amazing, but if you look at all the buttons and commands, you realize that there are alot of distrasctions while you drive for instance the center knob controls almost everything, now imagine setting the clock on that thing :) .Driving wise this car has a smooth acceleration until you floor it, give's you a whiplash like no tomorrow. Extremely amuzing

    Pros: style, style, power, power

    Cons: annoying center console

All Around Great — This car is beautiful! It rides very smooth and is incredibly comfortable. The only reason I traded it in was because I felt it was a bit too big, but then again I am pretty small. Very spacious and elegant.

    Pros: Smooth ride

Cons: Could be too spacious for some people

A Full Size Sedan That's Really A Full Size Race Car — an amazing car to drive every time you sit down in it. excellent handling in both city and highway situations. but truly, this car handles BETTER when you get it up to speed. it's at home between 90-110mph while getting excellent gas mileage (23+) at cruising speed. with every option except for rear camera, comfort is king and built in nav and Sirius make for easy trips, no matter how long. not for snow, ice, and would never treat to salt of any kind.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: the ultimate driving machine...

Cons: cost to maintain goes with the cost of a new bmw.
