Love Driving This Car. — Truly is an ultimate driving machine! The car's maintenance costs are not off the roof but were high after 120K. I ended up replacing the front axle bearing assembly and hold spring. Apart from this no major problems. Car is now in great condition!

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Amazing car to drive.  Just the right amount of power for the small car.  Considering its an all wheel drive get good mileage.

Cons: Maintenance cost were high.  I have recently replaced the front axle assembly and the hold spring.

What A Great Automtobile — The only con is if anything goes wrong with not only this BMW, but all BMW's they required OEM parts if you try after market part it will reject or cost you more in the long run. I say fix the problem once with OEM parts with an authorize BMW mechanic. You will never have any issues with any foreign made automobile: i.e. BMW, Mercedes, Porsche as long as you use there parts meaning OEM for said company, you will be alright. The only reason when individuals may have any issues with said vehicles is because of there actions; Sir Isaac Newton law of physics state "for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction" do not take short cuts when it comes to the up keeping of foreign made automobiles, or you will have issue on your hand, which would not be cost effect when it comes to resolving it.

Pros: Still under warranty with zero dollar deductible, which is great. The car is very reliable , it has never given me any issue what so ever. Similar to my previous automobile, which  was a Suzuki. I have never really experience any problems with foreign made automobiles  because they are build to last as long as you change the oil, install OEM parts, Rotate the Tires and check tire pressure there really isn't much to say.  The only time my vehicle sees a dealers garage is when I want to do maintenance to keep it running to it's full potential.  I love when I start my engine all I hear is the engine and nothing else. The car is extremely agile on the open road particularly curvy roads.

Cons: Cost of maintenance; nothing else really comes to mind.

Great Car But Something's Always Going Wrong — My 325i sedan was the best driving car I've owned. Very smooth performance, perfect ride & handling--not too stiff & not too soft. The controls are laid out really well. One example I always felt the turn signal stalk just felt right. The right amount of resistance, the right location. BUT there was always some small problem. Tail lights burning out (eventually fixed under recall), check engine light on, various parts leaking, suspension bushings wearing out. I had everything fixed and working right on the car. Drove it one week that way, and the radiator started leaking. Sold it--enough.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: Handling, ride, performance
    Ergonomics

    Cons: Constant small problems
    Mediocre MPG

Excellent Driving Experience — I love this car, it is a perfect city car, zips quickly around traffic and breaks fast when needed, torque ratio is excellent so you don't feel powerless going up hills, the only complaint is a small back seat if you are a larger person, kids love it

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: very stable, quick, easy to park, great city car

Cons: Back seat is a little tight for large persons

It Is A Joy To Drive, Beautiful To Look At! — 2005 BMW 3 Series 325i Rwd 4dr RED Sedan It is a joy to drive, beautiful to look at, and the most reliable car I ever had ;) Most of all I like "sport drive" function! Beautiful interior and exterior. Awesome design and engineering both mechanically and aesthetically. The Boys from Bavaria made a great automobile))))

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: The six-speed swaps cogs so slickly, the engine growls so seductively, the six spins so sweetly, that driving at the top of the rev range is less difficult than finding a reason not to speed.

Cons: it doesnt wanna go fast when it is dirty)))

Easily The Best Car I've Owned, If Not For Our New Baby We Would Not Replace It — I really have loved this car, excellent balance between sport and luxury. Comfortable enough to cruise all day in but does a great sports car impression on the back roads. The 3.0 liter engine is exceptional easily one of the best BMW engines built great torque band, always power available when you want it. Cargo space is good even with the top down, rear seat leg room is tight it's big enough for 4 adults to drive to dinner together, but nobody will be happy with a drive much longer than that.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great driving car, if you want a sporty convertible that you can drive every day it's hard to do better than the BMW 3 Series at any price

Cons: Don't buy this car if you don't like to do the recomended maintenance

An Awesome Ride — Solid German car. Great to drive. Put's a smile on your face. Below average cost of ownership. No issues. Great fun and quick of the mark. Sporty, great brakes, handles like a dream. 24-34 mpg so can't grumble really.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: Drive quality and performance

    Cons: Nothing

Personally Its A Pleasure To Go Anywhere In It Now And I Look Forward To Long Drives Because Of It.. — The acceleration in "Sport" transmission mode is amazing and so solid. The stance and sleek appearance of the BMW gives it a smooth touch to the luxury it carries and overall after you drive a solid car that makes you smile and knowing the hours you put in at work are worth it, makes every penny spent worthwhile..

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Smooth, sleek and stylish all around

Cons: Once you drive it, you dont want to stop driving it
