Good Value. Diesel Means Economy. Suprisingly Quick. — Accelerates quite well. Goes up hills in 5th at 60mph. Rattles and wind noise at speed. Suspension rock hard. You feel big potholes. Best looking 3 door in sector. Knocks Ford and Fiat into the corner. Cheap to insure, 70mpg, maintenence dirt cheap. Overall a pocket rocket. Makes me feel like a boy-racer lol

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It's cheap and cheerful

Cons: Build quality could be better. Nasty plastics and non-adjustable steering wheel is a pain if you're tall

Get One!! — Vauxhall Corsa 1.3 CDTI 2004. Acceleration, braking, handling is all very good. It hasn’t needed any repairs. The build quality is also very good. The appearance inside and out is excellent. It does about 500 miles to a full tank of diesel (£45). The parts are a reasonable price too. Overall it is a really good car to drive!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: everything.

Cons: the corsa is an amazing car and i can't think of anything bad about it.

75/100 — Nippy little comfortable car with nice styling outside but cheap looking interior console. No major problems with the car but does have a lot of body roll in corners at speed. Cheap to run with low insurance costs, good first car.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Cheap to run, quick acceleration, styling.

Cons: Handling, interior styling.

2004 Vauxhall Corsa C 1.2 Sxi — I don't like the fact that it doesn't have air conditioning and I should have gone for the same car, but with a bigger engine. I like the looks, metallic paint, alloy wheels, side skirts, fuel economy, central looking, electric windows, power steering, radio/cd player controls on steering wheel and white dials. Nice car, but certainly not the fastest. 1.2 16V ECOTEC (non twinport does 0-60 in 12 seconds with a top speed of around about 110mph and it has 74bhp. Car weighs 943kg.

Pros: looks - especially the 3 door in metallic black

Cons: performance of the 1.2 16v ecotec is not that good - go for the 1.4 or 1.8 engine.

My Little Corsa. — Its got two dents in it, one when I hit a car and one when Tim hit a chalet!!! Apart from that its lovely. Oh sorry, you need more than that don't you! I'm a girl you see. Acceleration, braking and handling is great. Build Quality apart from when you dent it it really dents, i spose its fine. Cheaper to run that a spacewagon 7 seater which was my last car, fun to drive? well i spose so if you like driving. I would recommed this car to a friend.

Pros: It rocks, is that good?

Cons: its got dents.

Emily, My 1 Litre Wonder — Well I can't knock it because it's still moving, but if you want a spacious and practical car this ent it, or if you want a fast car this definitely ent it. This vehicle is good for one thing, saving you money on petrol. Also the paint on its has faded pink :(

Pros: Petrol consumption

Cons: Everything else

Looks Quick But I Assure You It Isn't — I had a couple of the SRi models. Performance was pathetic but it was well built and looked quite nice. I had the 1.4 version but the 1.8 wasn't much better by all accounts. I wouldn't recommend the SRi at all. The other models seem like reasonable value for money though. I seem to see loads of Corsa's with body kits and big tail pipes. Why? They are not fast and the engine is poor.

Pros: Looks quite good, cheap to run

Cons: Pathetic performance and dealerships are a disgrace

Crap. — Let's see....underpowered, unreliable, tacky interior. Had one for just over a year. In that time it was recalled by vauxhall twice, and the gear selector went twice. Clutch always felt too stiff for a new car and gearbox was jerky at best. Second gear was always a problem.

Pros: Was a decent looking car at the time.

Cons: Build quality, reliability, crap engine, crap gearbox.
