2004 Subaru Liberty Review

Subaru Liberty Gt — 2004 Subaru Liberty GT 4 dr sedan. Performance:- The 2.0ltr boxer turbo engine puts out 190kw and goes 0-100 in around 6.2sec. Which isn't to bad for a family car. Excellent brakes with 2 pot callipers on the front and singles on the back. Has ABS/EBD and the added saftey of All Wheel Drive. It also sports the automatic 'sportshift' gearbox Is all there in the looks department with twin exhaust, side skirts, 17" alloys and that unmistakabe bonnet scoop on the front which says I mean buisiness! Interior has a 6 stacker 6 speaker sound system (Premium model has McIntosh 13 speaker system) Bucket style seats, 6 airbags, black faced dash cluster & sports stearing wheel with gear shift. Maintenance isn't cheap with the average service being around $200-$1000+ for a major service. Economy is ok depending on your foot you can get up to 600km of premium 98 on tank if you highway drive alot, but an average of 450km is what i get. Good Fun Car to drive specially with the sportshipt buttons being on the steering wheel

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Excellent familly car with heaps of room and loads of saftey features

Cons: Auto brings it dowm a bit. High PSI brings alot of turbo lag

2004 Subaru Liberty Review

Guru — OVerall really nice car, jet black and nicely understated. 6 speed manual gearbox and a nice top end. Was a bit unlucky as I got hit twice in it, and had someone key the whole side of it too. Fun too drive, plenty of video footage from the fangs up putty road!

Pros: Overall performance, mainly handling. Engine noise at top end. Kick ass stereo. Well built. Nice gearbox.

Cons: Expensive tires! Could have used a bit more power.
