Reliably Fast — i love my car. theres just something about a turbo spooling up that gets me goin. and the all wheel drive can get me anywere i wanna go. the wrx is a great platform for the tuner kind of person. its reliable, fast and looks great. my only complaint is that all my paychecks go into modifying it. Pros: awd and turbo. cant beat it Cons: not fast enough.... yet |

04 Subaru Impreza Wrx — Likes- The thing handles like its on rails in the winter, I mean it blasts through anything. I am very pleased with my purchase I would recommend it to many, in fact most who have driven it have loved it! Dislikes- The mileage kinda sucks but I can get over that. Pros: AWD Cons: Mileage |

Subaru Wrx — When I first bought it, the handling was a little underwhelming, especially compared to the power it makes. After a few good mods, like front and rear sway bars and end links, it handles quite well. It may not be as buttoned down as an Audi, but it is still a blast to drive. We also installed an aftermarket up pipe, and a manual boost controller. both working together to get rid of a little of the dreaded turbo lag. Pros: Great power, fun to drive. Cons: The suspesion shouldn't have required mods |

04 Wrx — I have luved the Subaru World Rally Blue / Gold combo since Colin McRae first put Subaru on the rally map so when the dealership group I work for added Subaru, I jumped on an early production 04' model in that color combination! I have 40K on it now and no complaints at all! fun to drive, looks beautiful and somewhat unique on the road - thumbs up! Pros: quik, fun, unique Cons: slow below 3K, a little slow in the handleing dept |

2004 Subaru Impreza Wrx (sedan) — Good acceleration, some turbo lag. Handles like it's on rails, especially with the anti-roll bars. Paint will scratch if you sneeze in its general direction. Interior is pretty plain, but the "sport" seats are nice. The stereo could be a lot better. Looks angry from the front end. Gas mileage is pretty low. Consider it a "fun tax". Pros: Acceleration, handling, looks Cons: Paint quality, stereo |

Most Fun Vehicle I Have Ever Driven. — Dont let the feint of heart drive this car or they will end up hurting themselves. You have got to have respect for it or you will get in trouble really quickly. Pros: 280 hp *stage 2 modifiactions(3.5" turbo back Aps race exhaust *no cats Cobb Stage 2 flash, Sti Sway bars, . 60 hp over stock. Nitto invo tires let you go up the clover leaf on ramps to highways at about 55 mph! Too much fun! Clutch engagement is like butter. Cons: 20-24 mg on the road with your foot in the turbo. 30mg if you drive it easy. Too bad it's too much fun when your in the turbo..... ;-) |

Perfect Commuter - Enough Push To Make Your Workday Slog A Bit More Fun — Its a fun car - even in the automatic tranny offering. The boxer feels "torquey" for a 4 banger and handles decently out of the box. The styling and aesthetic sensibilities are heavy on the "form follows function" school but gives the car its character - at least before the 08's arrived. In my humble opinion, the new styling looks more sleeker but lacks distinction. Pros: Utilitarian approach to aesthetics before the 08's Cons: Utilitarian approach to aesthetics before 08's |

Porsche-like Performance With Room Enough For A Full Drumset... — I just bought this car a little while ago on cars.com and drove it 1600 miles back from Boston via Canada. Since then I've driven it around town in a variety of road conditions. As a drummer, sedans and sports cars are generally impractical for me so I had resigned myself to many years of no driving pleasure whatsoever... The WRX wagon is fantastic. 227 turbo-charged horsepower in an all-wheel drive hatchback yields impressive acceleration, and handling. The four-wheel disc brakes complete this empowering package of exquisite balance. This car has no competition whatsoever in its class and year range. Top it off with saving $3,000 off the Minneapolis prices by buying in Boston and you've got one hell of a satisfied buyer.
Pros:
- 0-60 mph in 5.8 seconds (only 0.5s slower than Porsche's Boxster S)
Cons:
- Only takes premium fuel |

Hauler — Fast, great handler, looks okay. Huge support from owners clubs. Gas mileage is terrible when driven hard, but moderate when driven smoothly. Great for mountain roads. Turbo gives you all the power you need. Never have to switch gears. Set the cruise control and forget it. Interior is relatively poor. Hard to believe the car cost 35k+ new. No arm rest, no auto a/c or air exchange. Paint and glass are weak. I already need a lot of touch-up and a new windshield. Pros: Fast, AWD, super-reliable. Bit of stealth. Cons: Small-ish, interior. |
