A Good Car To Have If You're On A Budget. Styling Is Very Nice And Clean. A Good Option To Consider. — It's a generally good car to have. Suspension is great and offers a pretty smooth ride for an entry level car. Price is fair and maintenance is also relatively affordable if you source from the right places. They should maybe lose the 1.3 engine and begin at 1.6 to really let this animal loose. Response is quite nice. Turning radius is also good.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great suspension (thus pretty good ride) contrary to the preconceived notion that nissan's waterloo is the suspension. Mine's 5 years old but i've never had to change any of my suspensions, tierods, bushings, racks, etcetera while being on 17" rims, 205/40/17 tires, driving around CDO, Northern Negros, Cebu, Bulacan, Pampanga, and GMA with the countless potholes along Edsa. A/C is terrific as usual and gas consumption is pretty good since i can get to Quezon City and back (i live in Paranaque) twice from when the warning light goes on!

Cons: They have to redesign the brake caliper. Although thisis not defective, it is very much of a design flaw since the caliper pins are a bit small for the holes in the brake caliper. Solution is to grease the caliper pin housing once a quarter and that solves it. I drive the 1.3 GX model and the body's just a bit too heavy for the engine when going up inclines with a full load of 5 passengers but if it's just you and your friend, It's can go up those inclines quite well.

Great Car — Performance was great once I did cold air intake, synthetic motor oil, iridium spark plugs, and cat back exhaust. Also the result was improved gas mileage with the modifications. I am happy with the Sentra, and it has great potential as at performance tuner car.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: gas mileage

Cons: small for family, but it will work if you need it

2004 Spec V Review — The Sentra SE-R Spec V is a great performance 4 door. Has an option to get brembo breaks, sunroof, and rockford fosgate stereo system. The car is built to take corners and turns very well, great acceleration. The appearence is a nice clash between sporty and evey day driver. This car gets really good gas mileage around 28 in town and 30 highway. the fun factor of this car is 10 out of 10

Pros: handling and acceleration

Cons: nothing really

Spec V — It's a surprisingly quick little sedan with the six speed and 2.5. It handles like its on rails but isn't too stiff to be comfortable. It seems to be pretty solidly built, but does make extensive use of plastic in the interior. I think it's a pretty good looking little car, and so do most people I come into contact with. It is an economy car, although not as much as, say, a Prius. It gets around thirty miles per gallon and I have had no maintenance issues so far, and I've had it for over a year. It is a fun little car to drive. Its small, light, and very nimble in the curves, plus the six speed makes it feel much faster than it really is. But be warned, you will speed EASILY in this car because it pulls pretty good even in top gear. Over all, a fun car to drive that actually isn't over the top boy racer looking and gets good milage with minimal maintenance.

Pros: Good performance for cheap, fun to drive, not over done, some great colors to choose from

Cons: A little cheap on the interior with the plastics but not too bad, no space for an adult in the back seat

Spec V Wins Audience — the spec v is a sport compact lovers dream car. it has awsome performace in all ranges. the handeling of this car stock is nothing short of excellent. This car also has a great sleek look, yet wont have cops following you for miles waiting for you to speed. This car is a fun car to drive. the sound that this engine puts out when the secondary intake runners open up is phenomanal. if i were to rate this car i would rate it a 9/10. no other car can give you all this for this good price.

Pros: Everything

Cons: You will want to speed when driving this car

Sleeper — The acceleration was amazing and the handling in the curves incredible. The bench were design to hold you in the curves. Very confortable and it didn't cost a lot for insurrance because the companies didn't know about the car ! Overall I give a 9/10 appreciation and i recommend the car for people over 25 years of age because it's easy to reach 215 km/h.

Pros: speed

Cons: interior

My Ride — It gets me from point A to point B without stalling. It performs enough that I get from point A to point B without stalling. The build used to be flawless, now since I travel from point A to point B a lot, there are a lot of flaws. Cost of Ownership would be a lot cheaper if I didn't have to go from point A to point B. This car is fun to drive.

Pros: i needed a car, so I bought a cheap one.

Cons: No power windows.  Front locks don't match.  Silver driver's side mirror.

'04 Sentra — Don't really like the form outside: it could be more round and look less squared. BUT, it is a pretty good car.

Good For Those Who Want A Sport Car But Kind Of Tight Of Budget — A Sentra with an Altima-equivalent engine (2.5L with 175 horsepower). This is good of people who are kinda tight in budget but still want a sporty car. It has 6-speed manual transmission. Comes with NISMO intake, muffler, 17-inch alloy wheel, and fog light. The car has been lower so it becomes little bit bumpy. I just replaced the original halogen headlights with xenon headlights.

Pros: Great handling. Brakes are sensitive. 6-speed manual transmission is fun to play with. Good acceleration. The engine responses quickly. Reasonable price. Racing car seats. Nice car stereo.

Cons: Dashboard and interior look kinda cheap. Back seat can actually fits 2 people only. Not enough head and leg room. Only 22 mpg for city/29 mpg for highway. Needs to put premium gas. Kinda bumpy.
