A Very Dissapointing Sports Car. — The RX-8 handles very well but I don't think its particularly quick. You need to be smaller than even me to get into the back! It sounds like its screeming at you all the time! All sound and no pound! Its is stupidly unreliable and very expensive to run, i.e you have to warm the engine up before turning it off or it will flud! It does about 15-20 miles to the gallon and is even worse on oil!

Pros: Nippy handeling, nice looking and good boot space.

Cons: Expensive to run, not reliable, slow!

Rx-8 — about creamed myself when hit the gas pedal, quiet engine, revs smoothly, not a winter car at all, expensive but worth driving, could use a turbo, gauges are weird, handles like a baby, gets a lot of street attention when driven, not a car for anybody under 21 for they would ruin it

Pros: comfort, sportyness, acceleration, back doors, sleek styling

Cons: reliability, rear visibility

Great Car I Love It! — An amazing car. It is incredibly fast. The only problem I have with it is it could have a bit more torque it lacks in take off speed but other than that itll run with the best! This is the funnest car i have ever had the pleasure of driving!

Pros: Looks great and runs great what more could you ask for.

Cons: could have a bit more torque for faster starts.

Rx8 — This car basically reads your mind. Point the nose where you want to go and the RX8 does it's job masterfully. The RX8 is perfectly balanced and although it may not have a very torquey engine (OK, let's face it, no torque whatsoever), the engineering behind the chassis and drivetrain allows this car to be driven to the fullest by even the most adept driver. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Pros: Handling, 9000 RPM!, Novelty

Cons: Lacking in some aspects of build quality (minor), Gas Mileage

The 2004 Rx-8 — Performance- accelerates fast, brakes are amazing, and with the front and rear strut bars/ sway bars the handling is amazing. The exterior is friggin sexy, as is the interior. I bought the car for $20,000. it gets like 15 city, 19 highway. This car is the most fun car ive ever driven, besides my dads lexus.

Pros: Fun car, fast, sexy

Cons: Small cabin for rear seat leg room

Going To Miss My Rx-8 When My Lease Is Up. — My lease is expiring in 3 days, and I know I'm going to miss it. The drive feels like and extension of my body.... the low-end torque leaves something to be desired, but once you get moving, this thing is a rocket and carves thru traffic. Nice sound system and my wife likes the plethora of airbags when I'm driving the kids around in the backseat.

Pros: Blast to drive, turns heads, makes you feel like a superstar.

Cons: Horrible gas mileage (premium!), winter driving is scary.

Spandy (sporty And Handy!) — I actually love the styling although many people do say it is ugly because of its short nose. The handling speaks for itself, car handles like it's on rails. Acceleration isn't the best but not bad, just have to get your launch right. Overall it's the best car for me because I was looking for the performance of a two-seater but got that and four seats. Very handy, not to mention the build quality is impeccable, mazdas are great.

Pros: great performance with 4 seats

Cons: won't out-drag a 350z (minor negative)

Rx8 — Awsome car, the performance is great, handling smooth and responsive, breaking is excellent. Not so good in the rain, but still easy to drive. The engine's redline of 8500 RPM is wonderful, the sound of the engine is great. Overall I love it except the gas mileage could use help.

Pros: Sporty

Cons: Gas

Hot Hot Hot! — I loved how sexy this car was and all the attention i got from driving it (I'm not going to lie). The fact that it is kind of a rare car made me want it more! It was fast as well! It was not so good on gas or in any kind of rainy or Winter weather. The interior was nicely engineered.

Pros: Beautiful, sexy, fast & sleek!

Cons: Bumpy ride, bad in wet/snowy conditions, not good gas mileage

Mazda Rx-8 — After a year I still love to drive it! If it were any faster I'd have lost my license by now, and the handling is great. A sports car with a true back seat is a bonus too, works great for kids. I'm very happy with my purchase, and I can't wait to see the RX-9.

Pros: Great Handling

Cons: none
