My Maz — the rotary engine seems thirsty (only getting about 18mpg, maybe the way i drive it!!!) does not have alot of engine torque but goes well when you get her round to 9000rpm, another 100bhp would be nice though!!! but overall its a nice car to drive and puts a smile on my face round the twisty bits Pros: ride, handling, looks, whole driving experience Cons: engine torque, mpg ![]() Looking for a Used RX-8 in your area?CarGurus has 88 nationwide RX-8 listings starting at $5,900. |

My Mazda Rx8 — Good fun car, but not the best for everyday. It eats fuel and engine oil like no other car i've ever had. Amazing performance without looking like a boy racer car. Buy the higher BHP version, its a far better car and much easier to sell when you opt for somthing more sensible. Pros: Very Very Fast! Cons: Difficult to drive sensibly, don't offer your nan a lift to the shops! |

My 2004 20b Rx8 Gt — The thing I love the most about my car is the 700 HP it has......It has a 3 rotor swap with a GT42 dual ballbearing turbo. When I bought it a couple of years ago the only thing I had a little complaint was the lack of low end torque, but now I'm more than happy with my car. Pros: Power and handling Cons: Not very fuel eficient, but its worth every bit |

Great Car — The only 2 things I do not like very much are MPG and the low torque it has. Other than that it is a perfect car. The cost of ownership so far has been decent, considering that I bought the car with pretty old tires and I have to change them some time soon. (price per tire is about $225) Pros: Performance in any aspect. Cons: MPG and low torque |

Mazda Rx-8 — Good performance, needs more power, but handling makes up for it. However i have needed to get the transmission replaced twice, and the engine replaced once. Quality maybe an issue. Nevertheless this is one of the most rewarding driving experiences. The car is quite excellent and delivers on all rotors. Pros: handling, easy to work on. Cons: Gas mileage, and rotary specific issues. |

The Gorgeous Mazda Rx-8 — I love the color on my car, the design, the performance, the interior and the its sound. I just don't like the gas mileage and the fact that it's from 2004. The car is really fun to drive and it is Rear Wheel Drive..i love to drift with it!! Pros: Gorgeous in everything Cons: Gas mileage |

Mazda Rx-8 = Awesome Fun For An Affordable Price. — I liked how this is the only rotory engine in the market, the power is phenomenal great gear box. Very unique engine sound and smooth ride, it hands very well. The shifter felt really nice,. Starting it may be intimidating because you have to crank the engine longer then usual, also you must rev the engine to shut it off to prevent flooding.Engine is prone to flooding and you have to always keep an eye on your oil, recomended to top it up every second tank of fuel. Pros: cool because it is classified as a 4 door, for cheaper insurance Cons: Repairs are going to have to be done by mazda, no many mechanics understand the rotory engine. |

My Favorite Car So Far — best handling car ever. not a problem at all goin 30 over twisty corner w/ least body roll. awesome lookin. only problem is the lack of torque, thinkin about doin some FI now. mileage is not reasonably gud, but who cares about that w/ the tremendous fun drivin it. get urself in one of these, n start havin fun doin all the shiftin Pros: gud handlin=gud performance Cons: more torque would make it perfect |

Mazda Rx-8 — the fact that it is 50-50 weight for front and back witch improves handling and speed, i love the fact that it has a rotory engine , just the noise of it when it revs up to 8000 rpm or higher i love this car and would recomended it to anyone. Pros: awsome handling, amazing engein , high rpm (louder revs) , gorgeous apperance Cons: dosent come with twim turbo stock like rx-7, and is good for speed but coulf be better |

Rx8 Review — Overall the car is nice but has some fatal floors as mazda suggest in thier new mazda6 ads. Build quality is poor and may not suit aussie market. Customer service from MAzda is very poor. Deprecation if the car is a real worry. Fun to drive and looks really good but very very thirsty of petrol and oil. Dont buy this car if you dont have the budget to run it!!!! Pros: looks great is comfortable on short trips around twisties Cons: dont expect ANY service from MAZDA |
