Fun Car To Drive For Young Singles Sans Kids — Mine has the John CooperWorks aftermarket package on it. We are growing our family (first bambino) so are in the market for a more "practical" car. The Mini is fantastic for the experience of driving - but falls short in terms of passenger comfort and convenience in my book. Space is limited as it is - why not leverage every nook and cranny? It's certainly not boring, however, like I've found some sedans to be. Quirky and has character, for sure.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Zippy, fun to drive; large sunroof; super easy to park; nice to look at

Cons: Poorly designed front interior will lots of wasted space; poorly designed back interior with lots of hard surfaces in already cramped quarters - since body parts will bump against these surfaces, better to pad them

Senior Awesome. Also Known As 'coope' — Overall review for me would be 5 stars. I've never had any problems with the vehicle. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Since minis aren't the cheapest car on the market, it's well worth it to put in premium gas and synthetic oil.

Pros: Great handling. Park anywhere. Amazing fuel economy.

Cons: If you're in the back seat may be a little tight but Ive fit 5 people and a dog so its totally duable.

Small But Mighty — This is the Original version. The newer ones, with slightly longer wheel base, might be a tad bit smoother, but I'd still say they got it almost perfect, right out of the box.The newer engines with the turbos have had some issues, and while more powerful, don't have the fun whir of the supercharger. Anything can be improved upon, but I'm happy enough to just keep motoring.

Pros: Tons of fun

Cons: No built-in radar detector

The New Mini: Fun Tor Drive, Big On The Outside But Small On The Inside — Great car to drive. Due to being a bit hefty for a "Mini", more power would be great (I would recommend the S if you have the money). A beautiful car inside and out. But don't let the retro design fool you, it drives brilliantly. Handling, braking and suspension are superb. Basically, the new Mini is a go-kart for adults. If you want a fun daily driver that you can throw around this is the one.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: - Superb handling/suspension and brakes
- Beautiful interior and design  - Fun to drive

Cons: - No cargo space  - Back seats good for 2 "little" people (maybe)
- Lacking power, primarily at high speeds/high speed passing

Best Car — Very good car for someone who is looking into buying this car should. Performance wise, not a whole lot just 163bhp. Cost of ownership has been good. This car is a blast to drive, take it to a track!! Best car

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The thought that people think its a slow Mini Cooper not the S

Cons: The heat shield knocking against the exhaust will fix that soon

Mini Cooper S A Fun Car — The car is extremely fun and once you get to around 200hp you will be extremely satisfied with it the car almost never fails to put a smile on your face. As far as handling goes I have yet to find anything better.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Its agility and miles per gallon

Cons: Can't carry that many friends

A Small/fun To Drive Car — Mini's are either liked or hated (not much in between). I would have to recommend the S version that includes the turbo. These are fun cars to drive and are very forgiving when tossed into a corner, due to their front-wheel drive power train.

Pros: Fun, responsive, and a little quirky.

Cons: Maybe small for some...

Loved It, Miss It. I Want Another One — Acceleration, braking and handling were great. Never had any problem with it for the 4 years I drove it. Until the tires needed to be replaced, which was $200 each... Gas mileage was ok. Not great. This car was really fun to drive. Loved it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun to drive, if you like go carts

Cons: space is limited

One Of My Many Dream Cars! — Performance wise the acceleration is quicker than needed and the handling is excellent near the racing quality but still a little play and the braking is very responsive. the gas mileage on this vehicle is excellent but the maintenance can be expensive since it is a European car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: compact and quick; Rally purpose!

Cons: lack of space!
