Cracked Dash!! — the car is perfect for my needs, but the cracked dash is a common problem that needs to be addressed. Its an embarrassing eyesore and getting worse. The lexus casing to the keys of the vehicle have also cracked and needed to be replaced four times!! Four!! at considerable expense each time. I have recently become aware that this is also a common problem. Very disappointed!!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: functionality!

Cons: cracked dash like so many other 2004 Lexus Rx 330s.

Love The Car!!! Mad About Dashboard! — Acceleration -- terrific Braking -- excellent Handling -- great I feel very safe when driving this car. I used to drive a sports car and my Lexus handles like a sports car. If it wasn't for the cracked dashboard I'd be extremely happy with my car.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Love my car & the way it handles.   Lots of pep and very reliable.

Cons: Cracked dash, key fob fell apart.   Gas mileage isn't good!

Very Good — See Pros and cons above. This car has been pampered and I feel very comfortable in my 45 min commute knowing it is extremely reliable and will always get me where I need to go, and not just safely but in total comfort and style.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Quiet + smooth ride, outstanding Mark Levinson sound system, aftermarket added IPOD hook up

Cons: Not a lot of pep

Perfect First Car — This car has cost me nothing to maintain. Other than it's scheduled oil changes, I have had no problems. I would definitely recommend this car to anyone with a family or that just wants a reliable, good looking, and safe SUV.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Incredibly reliable car as are most Lexus. Looks great and the ride is smooth on any surface.

Cons: Soft handling

Well Rounded Vehicle. — I like how the car handles on the road, the way you can get in and out of traffic. Its not to big or to small of a vehicle to fit 5 people comfortably. Great family car. Look and drives great. You wont be disappointed about this vehicle.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great on Gas, Fits 5 people  comfortably, Looks Great, Just a Great Value Vehicle

Cons: Dont Have Any.

Mostly Good Car — Dash is cracking. Lexus reliability. Bought this 2004 rx330 as a family car which it has been great at. Good long haul vehicle for family vacations. Suspension is very bouncy and it seems common amount other Lexus owners that I have seen on the blogs.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Good price.

Cons: Poor suspension

I Will Be Buying Another One. — The car drives and handles extremely well! It has great power and will easily cruise, where legal, at 85 mph with low rpm. All wheel drive keeps you going even in snow! This body style is still being used on the new vehicles as well!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Versatility, great cargo space and comfortable for all passengers.

Cons: none

Smooth, Luxurious, Understated Power — I'm currently on my fourth unit in 10 years and love the value in these used offerings which have so much more life in them - at 100K miles, there's easily another 120K to go, and with good care of leather and maintenance - it will just keep looking great. From 2003 onward, there was a new level of safety - all standard - with 9 air bags, and a laundry list of additional features - well worth staying at that year and newer; It's a cross-over type body style so don't expect Suburban-like cargo space, but the RX330 is in the same body-size class as the Acura MDX, whereas the Acura RDX and BMW X3 are smaller versions - so don't get them confused when searching the internet; Overall just a great platform for luxury touring, or for families driving about daily in very comfortable safety. Enjoy!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: These cars are solid, powerful, stable, nimble, and best in AWD models;  Great comfort, styling, and luxury trim offerings;

Cons: Pricey when new;  Could do without the gear shifter and wasted console space - some SUVs are going to smaller shifters or paddles, but this model's shifter style is still the standard;
Back seats can be tight for other passengers with car seat(s)  installed
