Strong, Solid, Dependible — Overall, It's an excellent vehicle that will never let you down. It isn't a performance sedan, but can outlast one in the long haul, and with more confidence. I also feel safer in a vehicle with a higher profile such as the Jeep. Finally, it's classic style makes for a ride you can feel proud to drive and own.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The Jeep is very reliable, and has overall low maintenance issues.  Many aftermarket OEM replacement parts are available and keeps maintenance cost low.  The 4X4 is excellent when hauling a boat, trailer, or keeping control in heavy rain or snow.  The inline 3.0 6 cylinder engine is as tough as engines get, and will outlast anything made.

Cons: Fuel economy is not a strong point, but with that being said, it really is one of the only cons I can list.

10years Of Happy Motoring — great vehicle - dependable and solid in all weather situations. great utility - able to carry people in comfort as well as large items inside the cabin or on roof. More than enough power for multitude of requirements and highway or local cruising.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great vehicle -

Cons: none

Loved This Jeep — I personally loved everything about this car. It was 100% reliable the entire time I owned the car. Jeeps are perfect cars for the crazy ever changing weather we have here in Mass. Getting anywhere this winter was a piece of cake. Super comfortable for long rides. Great family or teens first car.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Perfect for summers on the beach, and winters in the snow. Look is sleek and clean. Very comfortable and roomy. A lot of fun to drive!

Cons: Honestly there were no cons of owning this car, the mileage for a V8 was very fair, the acceleration is outstanding. Overall very high feelings of safety and control inside this Jeep.

2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited — Appearance: Great looking Jeep very comfortable Build quality: Excellent quality Jeep, low maintenance costs new front tries on it and the oil pan is brand new so no leaks. Performance: This car moves it has a V8 in it and acceleration is excellent. If I had more room in the driveway I would keep this one.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: New front ties, remote start all leather seats and steering wheel, runs great.

Cons: minor right bumper damage

Low Cost, Reliable. — The pros and cons column above has pretty much sumed up how I feel about the Jeep Grand Cherokee, its a great ride that handles smooth and is meant to handle rough terrain too if your looking for an offroading vehicle.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Handles well in rain and snow, thanks to michelin tires I don't slide around. I love black Jeep Grand Cherokee's and the V8 power is a plus for those parkway ramps that are too short.

Cons: This is my second Jeep Grand Cherokee and at 216,000 it drives the same as when it had 10,000 miles on it, no real cons I can come up with.  Keeping up on oil changes regularly, brake pads, air and oil filters I haven't had to pay more than $400 in the repair shop for minor fixes on both of my cherokees.

Its' A Great Used Vehicle, You Can Get A Decent One For Little Money. — Jeep GCs are tough vehicles. I bought mine in 2012 with 127K miles for $5900. I now have 210K miles on it and it still runs strong. It has annoying things like the brakes pulse from hot spots on the rotors, and in town mpg is terrible. All in all its a safe vehicle, sturdy and reliable. I will buy another when I hit 300K.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Tight turning radius, cheap to fix, good mpg highway, shift on the fly 4wd, I feel safe in it.

Cons: Brakes, oil leaks

I Wouldn't Recommend This To Anyone, Unless You Have A Great Job And Can Afford The Repairs. — I bought this SUV for family trips and for hauling around items for friends or family, thought it was a great investment. That's not so much the case, I spent more investing for repairs then I even drove it. The Jeep only has 130,000 miles on it, and I even had to rebuilt the transmission... total repairs cost me over $2,000 and I have to say its becoming more of a hassle than anything.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Nice space, handles good.

Cons: Maintenance is not cheap, breaks quickly.

Grand Cherokee, The All Around Vehicle — Love the style, the power and the acceleration. Handling could be better, but it is NOT a sports car. Bought it used from a dealer who didn't disclose everything. Had to involve the Ohio state's attorney general to get a settlement. Bu the vehicle (once I had the problems repaired) has proves to be competent both on and off road. MPG is not great, but for a 2 ton, 4WD SUV, it's better than most. And a 6,500# towing capacity makes it very useful!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Lots of power in the High Output engine and acceleration is good.  Extremely comfortable to enter/exit and drive.  More than adequate for off road travel, as well.

Cons: None.  I like everything about this vehicle!

Family Vehicle, A Must. — Most of the reviews I have read claim that this Jeep only gets 19 to 21 MPG but when I have checked my computer it said 32.8 MPG. I have yet to find a decent site with some information. Its a great family vehicle, and handling isnt bad at all. Reliability isn't a huge issue but isn't a issue that should be ignored at all, it requires (as all vehicles) care.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Space, size, and cost

Cons: Maintenance isn't cheap, and Jeeps require quite a bit of it
