Its' A Great Used Vehicle, You Can Get A Decent One For Little Money. — Jeep GCs are tough vehicles. I bought mine in 2012 with 127K miles for $5900. I now have 210K miles on it and it still runs strong. It has annoying things like the brakes pulse from hot spots on the rotors, and in town mpg is terrible. All in all its a safe vehicle, sturdy and reliable. I will buy another when I hit 300K.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Tight turning radius, cheap to fix, good mpg highway, shift on the fly 4wd, I feel safe in it.

    Cons: Brakes, oil leaks

I Wouldn't Recommend This To Anyone, Unless You Have A Great Job And Can Afford The Repairs. — I bought this SUV for family trips and for hauling around items for friends or family, thought it was a great investment. That's not so much the case, I spent more investing for repairs then I even drove it. The Jeep only has 130,000 miles on it, and I even had to rebuilt the transmission... total repairs cost me over $2,000 and I have to say its becoming more of a hassle than anything.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: Nice space, handles good.

Cons: Maintenance is not cheap, breaks quickly.

Grand Cherokee, The All Around Vehicle — Love the style, the power and the acceleration. Handling could be better, but it is NOT a sports car. Bought it used from a dealer who didn't disclose everything. Had to involve the Ohio state's attorney general to get a settlement. Bu the vehicle (once I had the problems repaired) has proves to be competent both on and off road. MPG is not great, but for a 2 ton, 4WD SUV, it's better than most. And a 6,500# towing capacity makes it very useful!

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Lots of power in the High Output engine and acceleration is good.  Extremely comfortable to enter/exit and drive.  More than adequate for off road travel, as well.

Cons: None.  I like everything about this vehicle!

Family Vehicle, A Must. — Most of the reviews I have read claim that this Jeep only gets 19 to 21 MPG but when I have checked my computer it said 32.8 MPG. I have yet to find a decent site with some information. Its a great family vehicle, and handling isnt bad at all. Reliability isn't a huge issue but isn't a issue that should be ignored at all, it requires (as all vehicles) care.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: Space, size, and cost

Cons: Maintenance isn't cheap, and Jeeps require quite a bit of it

Great Used Car! — Got this car with 60000mi and one previous owner 2 grand under blue book. 4wd is amazing as is the off road handling. Interior is luxurious for what I paid. Have had some repairs of electrical work, but not terribly expensive.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: Power, interior

    Cons: Buggy electrical

The Big Boy Of My Past And Present Jeeps — Fits the role of the modern jeep really well. Rugged, comfy, utilitarian, smooth ride, can be a family vehicle, and can take you and your family to the top of the mountains! Climate controls work excellently, never had an uncomfortable ride in it yet. Power is great, and mileage is extremely reasonable, given size and power of this Jeep.

Pros: I think it'd be a phenominal family vehicle. It'd get you to where you need to go with your family safely through any snow or anything, in total comfort too, while still being completely utilitarian.

Cons: Well it's not a racecar, so it doesn't handle like one lol.

My 4th Jeep — This is my 4th Jeep and I have owed it the longest. Its always been reliable with no major mechanical break downs since I have owned it. I change the oil on a regular basis and have replaced all four tires and shocks as well as updating to cross drilled and slotted rotors.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Comfortable and roomy up front. Good power 8 cylinder.

Cons: Gas milage isnt bad,but its not a compact.

Handling Excellent, braking Par, Flashy Head Turner, — it drives like a sports car, stops like a NFL football player , is as comfortable as Al Bundy sitting on his easy chair, speakers are bose and stereo system is rocking, sits up in back a little so it give the apperance of a softly lifted mustang

Pros: nearly perfect in every way
    show room presence
    Beautiful black, grey leather combination
Wheels are premium alloy and beautiful

Random Review Title, Dont Know What To Say. — The Jeep isn't a pleasant companion for the daily slog. It feels heavy, steers slowly and exhibits ample body roll. Taken off-road, its story changes; the Grand Cherokee is the best midsize SUV on the market when it comes to boulder-bashing. Its not quite bad on long trips also.

Pros: Offers much better performance in terrain than most others SUVs from its range.

Cons: Too big mileage, have to sell it ;(
