My Stock Honda — its a stock civic cant expect much from it. well if i ripped out the engine put a b-18 red top in it with a nice sized turbo, over sized intercooler, put some 17's got new suspension coilovers, sway bars, a cage hell made it rear wheel drive. Im sure the performance would be a lot better then the stock 125 horsepower at the wheels it is now.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: nothing

    Cons: its stock

A Great Environmentally Friendly High-performing Reliable Car — This car was a consolation car for me. I had hoped to find a Honda Insight (first generation), but settled for this. What a pleasant surprise I had. The Civic Hybrid is fuel-efficient, comfortable, reliable, intelligently designed, and fun to drive. It really exceeded my expectations.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: This car surprised me in a lot of good ways. The performance is outstanding. It actually accelerates better than the non-hybrid Civic, so it has plenty of power when it's needed. It's really comfortable, even on long drives. In fact, all of the ergonomics are the best I've found. The controls are all simple and intuitively placed. I never fumble around trying to find the stereo controls or climate controls. Even the cruise control is easier to engage than other cars I've driven. Handling is better than average for a sedan. Not sports car handling, mind you, but plenty good. And the mpg is remarkable. Ultra low emissions vehicle? Yep. Wow.

Cons: It's a good looking vehicle, but not what I'd call unique or sexy. Honda gave up some of the mpg compared to the first generation Insight (and even more for the second generation Insight). Why?

Awsome! — Acceleration sucks, Get a K swap. Handles well after you make a few upgrades. Cheap, fun to drive, brakes could use an upgrade should be all around disc brakes. In my opinion ditch the single cam as soon as you can lol

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: ITs MINE

    Cons: Haters hating

Good Car — Honda Civic 2004 1.6 SE (Petrol) Performance is good, handling OK but slightly too much body roll in corners. Build quality is top notch. Exterior appearance a bit dull, interior comfortable and well made. Fuel economy 34mpg about town driving. A good car all round.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: Smooth and refined

    Cons: None

Awesome Love It! — Yolonda the Honda is an awesome car. Wicked on gas. 750km's off a tank. If you buy a trim level make sure you buy an LX. DX and DX-G are very basic. LX has all power options. I highly recommend it.

It Can Give Some Cars A Run For Thier Money! — Performance:- Stock performance wasn't very exhilirating, well a 1.6ltr Vtec producing arnd 127 Hp wont do much, would it? The ABS Brakes were good and handling was much better than other same priced cars. However after a K24 swap the car became very, very lively. It produces arnd 200bhp now, Acceleration is pretty good, but then again on a front wheel drive car getting a proper launch is an issue. There is still massive wheel spin in 1st and 2nd gears, I actually hear the crank phasing out at times. Got a new set of brakes from an Acura TSX to cope up with the power. I also changed the front and rear suspensions, couple of sway bars here and there and mated it with a Vtec controller. Result is a sharp, fast and fun car. Although at times I think Ive ruined the ride comfort a bit. Build Quality: As far as Japanese cars go, this one has been a tough ride, all the massive power now and still no major hiccups! I mean seriously apart from regular maintenance all is well and in good shape. Appearence: Its was a definite head turner when it came specially with the JDM tail-lights, Its one of those honda cars that cant be further improved on looks. Interior is the Type T beige one, much like the high-end TSX one, its a comfy and cosy place to be in. Although its a pretty sporty looking car, the BMW like interior cant be further modified accept for beige leather seats, racing pedals and all that Momo accessories dont look good in the cockpit. Cost of Ownership:- As long as u dont fiddle with the car to much...... as in keeping it in stock its pretty cheap to run, maintenance is cheap and its pretty good on fuel around 35mpg on stock engine (Driving Sensibly) and now it does 25-30mpg on The K24 motor. The maintenance on the new engine is the same. Fun-Factor:- If u want a good looking practical car that has quite a lot of potential then the Civic is a nice car however it is somewhat up to you how you want to utilize its potential. So summing it all up............ Its not an M5 or a Lamborghini killer, but with proper mods on it, its just huge fun.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Practical, Economical and Huge fun.

Cons: If you are looking forward for a racer, not this ride it isnt.

Best Little Car I Ever Had. — It pretty sleek for a compact car, looks good in black. Great gas mileage, low maintenance, easy to maintain. Parks easily. Accelerates OK. Brakes good. No regrets, best small car I ever owned. Next up: a black Honda Accord. Love it.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Looks good and runs great.

Cons: You love to pay a lot for gas.

Fun To Drive, Awesome On Gas — Acceleration was steady, but slow. To be expected of a very small 1.7 L SOHC engine. Eager to respond and perform - thought it was a Rottweiler, but performed like a Chihuahua at times. Braking was Ok (it came without ABS). Handling was AMAZING, it was like the thing was on roller skates. It never needed repairs - and I was NOT easy on this car. Appearance - it was "cute" and "tiny". Cost of ownership was NOTHING....this car had great gas mileage - almost hysterical at how good it was. I could get 35-40 mpg on the highway. This car was fun to drive, but not made for tall people.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: Fun to drive

    Cons: It's small
