2004 HSV MalooReview

I Love It... — A beautiful Ute with heaps of horsepower and killer looks... wants for no body modifications as the factory got it right first time saving me a lot of money on horrible fibreglass body kits that don't last! Ran 13.8 quarters stock, now runs 12.1's still with the standard engine. No internal modifications, just good engine tuning and set-up of the stuff behind the motor. In stock form this would be a great car for anyone wanting a classy ute with the grunt to back itself up. As mine is now, it is an aquired taste that not many would like - blame the high-stall converter for that... Insurance will kill you if you're still young, and in some states the rego will kill you too... but for the most part, it is all worth it...

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Sounds brilliant, goes great, eats up miles on the highway

Cons: Not for everyone, especially if you've been driving a FWD Civic and think it was fast!
