233,000 Miles Plus And Still Strong. Nuff Said. — I can personally attest to the various positives that make the F-150 the best-selling pickup on the market for lo these many years. This thing does it all, from hauling to heavy weather, and looks pretty good doing it.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Dependable, tough, best P/U on the market for a reason.

Cons: No agility; mileage tepid, at best; few creature comforts.

Great For A Truck Person, And A Good Step For A First Truck. Best Used Truck You Can Find. —

I'll go ahead and say it. I haven't had the best of luck with my truck. However after I've gotten the problems solved, it is a perfect fit for me. I used this as not only my daily driver, but as my hobby truck as well. I enjoy the look of this generation F-150. It's all smooth lines and not a lot of flash. For a truck it handles very well. I've been able to move this is places I wasn't sure I would be able to. The steering is tight and gives you a good feeling of control. Everything feels solid on this truck during daily drives or long trips. I've never had an issues hauling cargo; I've always had the power and space I needed. It's easy to modify this truck for power or looks depending on your tasted. The back seats are comfortable, even for some taller passengers so it's not bad for trips or get together sitations. The best advice I can give you when buying a used truck of this generation (or any used vehicle really) is to be thorough when checking it over. If possible have it looked at by a professional. Once you find a good one, keep it that way! Maintaing these trucks can seem like a job, but it's really worth it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It handles surprisingly well for a truck and can accomplish anything you throw at it. Very versatile in uses and modifications to taste.

Cons: Parking can be difficult depending on the area. Fixes can be expensive if the vehicle isn't properly maintained.

Rob's F-150 — Great Ride, this was the first truck that Ford revised after years, the 2004 Model Lariat Crew Cab 2x4 the most room in it's class. I have done a few modifications, but just for cosmetic reasons, and performance. Overall a great vehicle!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Very roomy

Cons: Poor Gas in the city

Love It! — You can't argue with the history and reputation of the F-Series trucks by Ford. I love the way the Fords look and I love they way they drive. My truck is easy to handle, has good power, and rides extremely smooth.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Easy to drive, reliable, comfortable to ride in!

Cons: As with any truck, fuel economy is not so hot.

Reliable Truck — Good value truck for work or home. Rides high so you get a good view of things around you. Mileage is what you would expect from a full size truck. Only problem i have had with the truck is that the both power window motors went out and had to be replaced

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: American made, fits 6 adults easy

Cons: Milage

Easy Carefee Comfortable No Worries Ride — I like this truck. ALOT. Easy in easy out; comfy, sharp look, troublefree, steering & accelerate response XLNT; smooth ride; I'd rather hop in 'Shorty' to run to the store than our passenger car; Seat 3 adults easily, Roomy, quiet interior

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Strong troublefree engine, cold start up, comfortable, heat/ac awesome, quiet interior, lotsa leg room for leggy family, looks sharp, handles very easily on turns, higher speeds and stop and go traffic, mpg costs better than fair for a truck & beats our Marquis,

Cons: Left view for passing clearance blind spot (cab frame), step side steps small, caution on outside body trim (noted trouble areas by dealer on warranty maintenance appts) easy fix tho, minor to even note but that's all I got for cons!

Awesome! — Performance wise the truck is got good power and can peel out no problem. The one problem that it does have is that common noise in the engine that everyone talks about. The exterior has a minor dent on the back but it looks really good. The interior is complete. It has 19mpg hwy and around 14 to 16 on the city. Maintenance-wise its cheap for me since I do most of the job. The truck is really fun to drive and it makes other people scared of you, they move out the way since they see a big truck.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Like that is big and sexy :)

Cons: Sometimes parking sucks

Great For Doing Stuff. — The truck drives great, looks good, and great for weekend project. The truck gas mileage is not so good about 16 city and 21 on highway. It maybe a little less. Even with gas mileage I still love driving it.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Drives great.

Cons: Gas mileage is not so great.
