Really Good Looking — this is a good truck. i enjoy it and so does my family. i have pulled everything i needed to. i like the heated seats and the sunroof. the gas milage is only like 24 miles a gal. i wish it had a back up camera. i insalled a hard lid on the bed and have mixed feelings. it ok for travel but if i go to lumber yard its difficult to haul long lumber because i used to have a tool box they would slide under.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: good truck lot of luxury and options

Cons: poor gas mileage and spark plugs are hard to change and tend to break off when changing.

Ford F150 Xlt Crewcab - Very Reliable — Everyone loves to own a truck. This one gets you where you need to go in comfort and safety with the ability to carry decent loads. I feel very safe in this vehicle, but the gas mileage is starting to gnaw at me. And, for a large truck, it is still pretty decent - averaging 19 MPG.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Comfortable truck for 4-5 adults

    Cons: Gas mileage

233,000 Miles Plus And Still Strong. Nuff Said. — I can personally attest to the various positives that make the F-150 the best-selling pickup on the market for lo these many years. This thing does it all, from hauling to heavy weather, and looks pretty good doing it.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Dependable, tough, best P/U on the market for a reason.

Cons: No agility; mileage tepid, at best; few creature comforts.

Great For A Truck Person, And A Good Step For A First Truck. Best Used Truck You Can Find. — I'll go ahead and say it. I haven't had the best of luck with my truck. However after I've gotten the problems solved, it is a perfect fit for me. I used this as not only my daily driver, but as my hobby truck as well. I enjoy the look of this generation F-150. It's all smooth lines and not a lot of flash. For a truck it handles very well. I've been able to move this is places I wasn't sure I would be able to. The steering is tight and gives you a good feeling of control. Everything feels solid on this truck during daily drives or long trips. I've never had an issues hauling cargo; I've always had the power and space I needed. It's easy to modify this truck for power or looks depending on your tasted. The back seats are comfortable, even for some taller passengers so it's not bad for trips or get together sitations. The best advice I can give you when buying a used truck of this generation (or any used vehicle really) is to be thorough when checking it over. If possible have it looked at by a professional. Once you find a good one, keep it that way! Maintaing these trucks can seem like a job, but it's really worth it.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It handles surprisingly well for a truck and can accomplish anything you throw at it. Very versatile in uses and modifications to taste.

Cons: Parking can be difficult depending on the area. Fixes can be expensive if the vehicle isn't properly maintained.

Rob's F-150 — Great Ride, this was the first truck that Ford revised after years, the 2004 Model Lariat Crew Cab 2x4 the most room in it's class. I have done a few modifications, but just for cosmetic reasons, and performance. Overall a great vehicle!

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: Very roomy

Cons: Poor Gas in the city

Love It! — You can't argue with the history and reputation of the F-Series trucks by Ford. I love the way the Fords look and I love they way they drive. My truck is easy to handle, has good power, and rides extremely smooth.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Easy to drive, reliable, comfortable to ride in!

Cons: As with any truck, fuel economy is not so hot.

Reliable Truck — Good value truck for work or home. Rides high so you get a good view of things around you. Mileage is what you would expect from a full size truck. Only problem i have had with the truck is that the both power window motors went out and had to be replaced

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: American made, fits 6 adults easy

    Cons: Milage
