R Pt — Good for overnights & w/e trips, seats are comforatable w/o that sunk-down cvar seat feel.

Pros: Affordable, good MPGs, functional, low maintenance

Cons: Horsepower (that's why its good on gas), stereo system, would like a sunroof

It Is Comfortable And Roomy — It is good for a small family. The fact the back seat folds forward is nice when needing to transport things.

Pros: I OWN IT

Cons: It is small for my needs

My Specs — -2.4 L Turbo -hyperblack 18' R1 racing wheels -Euro headlights -Chrysler chrome package

Pros: Suprisingly fast and has a lot of potential! Definetly underlooked

Cons: Not the fastest in terms of top speed, could have a slicker body style

I Have Had Both The Turbo And Non-turbo Cruisers And There Is No Comparison — Very quick, but a harsh ride and not a lot of room for the kids

Pros: very quick

Cons: railroad tracks will jar your kidneys

Speedy Little Devil. — It's my gramma's purple little speed devil. I get to drive it whenever I'm visiting her... she would rather be the passenger.

Pros: Good on the highways and navigates around easily.

Cons: I don't like how they look!

Chic. — It's cute & the seats are comfortable. There is colored paneling found on the car's dashboard that matches the exterior color of the car. There is lots of space inside for putting groceries in & everything is easy to find in there. The car looks really great in red.

Pt Cruiser Gt Is A Fantastic Jack Of All Trades —

I purchased this PT Cruiser GT new back in 2004 and it has been an outstanding vehicle for these last ten years. The PT Cruier GT was initially purchased primarily to be a family car, yet with good looks, power, and lots of bells and whistles. Since then, the GT has changed job descriptions for us and never came up short. A grand tourer for family vacations, grocery getter, bringing home the 55" flat screen TV, hauling lawn and garden materials from the DIY store, etc. I eventually became the primary driver of this Cruiser, using it for my daily commutes back and forth to work. The turbocharged engine easily gets the car up to speed from offramps and merging lanes and the ride is very smooth with just the right amount of firmness. Bad weather has been no problem, either. In addition to ABS brakes, the PT Cruiser has a low speed traction control feature that has helped with snowy roads from this past winter. The car is superbly well planted and the front wheel drive pulls the car through the snow and ice without any drama. This PT Cruiser has been a wonderfully dependable vehicle and should be considered as one of Chrysler's greatest offerings of all times. For the money, you will be hard pressed to find a better car.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Strong engine that has a very smooth power delivery. No turbo lag. interior is very comfortable  with lots of room. The seats can be rearranged, including taking them out altogether, to handle vast amounts of cargo. Excellent stereo system with satellite radio already wired in the car.

Cons: Fuel economy would be the only complaint I can make about this car. I primarily use my PT Cruiser GT for my daily commute back and forth to work. The car regularly returns about 25mpg in this role. For highway trips, the Cruiser usually manages just under 30mpg.
