Chevy Power! — Big system, clean lines. solid and pretty fast. it does seem to find peace with 115mph very comfortably. The car is a blast to drive, but its been getting fixed for the last month or so because of the crash...

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: the looks, the comments.

Cons: well... dont hit me, or ill kill you.

Best Car I've Ever Owned. — Build Quality: It's been a fantastic car that is both fun to drive and comfy for long road trips. I still love it as much as the day I bought it. Car Comparisons: I considered both small suvs and other sportier cars such as a Nissan 350Z but the overall package of this car sold me.

It's A Nice Car. — It's 2004 Dale JR Edition. Super charged 3.8. Fully loaded. Only 2441 of them produced. 260 hp. Heated leather seats. It's fast for a large front wheel drive car. You can have fun with it screwing around town or enjoy long trips with it.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Power and comfort

Cons: Difficult to work on under hood.

Great Car — It is big, roomy, and a nice car to ride around in., Performance is great for a big car, that 3800 series v6 gets up and goin, at the moment suspension sucks though. Otherwise a nice looking car with sleek looks.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: it looks great, has a great wide stance

Cons: the rear shocks

Surprising Fun, Composed And Fast Car, That Surrounds You In Leather And Comfort —

I bought this car new. And from day one, it was a blast to drive. Acceleration is smooth and linear. When the supercharger kicks in, it feels like you are being catapulted from behind. Speed ceases to go beyond the indicated 112 mph (due to the limiter), but the car feels composed and solid at speed. The supercharger maintains speed easily with the cruise control engaged. I see the complaints about gas mileage, but using synthetic oil in my beast since the first oil change, I got better than 28 mpg highway driving with speeds averaging 70 or more. I easily got 30 mpg driving sensibly (which admittedly, is hard to do). So I have ZERO complaints about gas mileage. I'll take zero to sixty in under seven seconds and nearly 30 mpg any day. And though it isn't the prettiest car (nor the fastest) on the street, mine always draws compliments. Fit and finish is better than expected for a Chevy. Perhaps the Canadians can teach the Yanks a thing or two about quality. Nevertheless, very few demons have shown their faces in my SS. The tire pressure monitor had a hiccup in the first 2000 miles, and the moonroof decided not to cooperate at approximately 15,000 miles, sticking partially open. But Chevy fixed everything under warranty and the only costs incurred in the first 2 years of ownership were the typical oil changes and tire rotations you would expect. Nothing out of the ordinary. I traded this car after 2 years and 36,000 miles. And I still miss this car. I had no regrets buying this car and would have bought another, had Chevy continued to build them. But no. Only used Montes are now available. With any luck, you can find a well cared for supercharged model that will give you loads of fun miles as mine did.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Nice handling and good looking coupe with reasonable power and decent build quality.

Cons: Torque steer, numb steering, speed limiter set lower than a baseline Hyundai.

Monte Ss — This car is simply beautiful. Nascar did a great job designing the SS trim. This thing has a great level of performance. It has the ever so reliable 3800 which means it's a Chevy that will last for a very long time. It's a very fun car and I would greatly recommend it!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great style, gas mileage, and beautiful interior and exterior

Cons: None yet

Red Monte — I love my car I wish it had more features like power seats and radio controls on the steering wheel but pretty sure it was a rental car so can you say bottom of the line. I paid a really good price for it. My trany is slowly going I'm waiting for the day it wont shift. Its only a 3.4 v6 it takes a while to get 'er reved up, lol.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The custom paint!

Cons: No power seats and missing controls on steering wheel.

4 Stars - Had A 2002 But It Got T-boned / So Went Out And Found The Exact Same Car In A 2004 — The 3.8L isn't as robust as I'd really like, but acceleration is adequate - not a barn burner but gets me there / braking with ABS is sweet / handling is great most of the time ; mpg is low at 22 but satisfying for my tastes aluminum plenum and cooling system had some flaws but fixed, they haven't been a show stopper would pimp my ride if I had the bread styling is to die for but needs larger rims over the 16" stock / just luv the black on black with leather seats and the instru cluster is rad

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: fun ride / great lookin'

Cons: suspension & tires need an upgrade

Car Anyone Would Like To Drive — Appearance is good all around - inside and out. Performance pretty good - Could have a LITTLE more pep A family member bought the car for half the going rate. The car is fun to drive. It's for all ages and types.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Good all around. Nothing bad to say...really.

Cons: Nothing

It's Marginal, But It's Mine — Loud when getting on the throttle. "Acceptable" performance for a somewhat small V6. No mechanical problems whatsoever. Sleek shape looks good and keeps wind noise down on the highway, which contribute to a consistent 30+ mpg on the highway. Fun isn't the first word that comes to mind, but to me, it's very nice looking for a GM vehicle.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Roomy, 30+mpg, beautiful (by GM standards)

Cons: Has depreciated by GM standards, mine's a chick car (small engine, bright red)
